Stopped for pizzas and drinks on a walk around the Monsal trail, food was great and staff were lovely :

Despite an apparently live website we were told this bar is closed for conversion to hotel bedrooms. The exterior of the hotel itself looks in need of attention.

The pizzas were fantastic and the views were breathtaking. This restaurant is the ideal spot to relax and rejuvenate after a hike on the Monday trail. We highly recommend it.

Very nice day out topped off with a great meat lovers pizza from the Stable Bar, alongside a lovely burger from the Hotel. Reasonably priced food a wide selection for post walk grub. Speisekarte ansehen

My family and I stayed at a wonderful accommodation across from the Monsal Head Hotel for a get-together. While walking, we came across the Stable Barn, where we enjoyed some delicious freshly cooked pizzas. The toppings were diverse, the pizzas were hot, and the staff was very friendly. We highly recommend this place.

A lovely stop off half around our walk!! We were pleased to find this pub and it had ample inside and outside seating. We ordered 2 sandwiches and they were very tasty-particularly the fish finger one!! The pub is very dog friendly and the serving team were incredibly friendly. I'd recommend a trip. My only complaint is its on the expensive side for 2 sandwiches!

We was on a 3 day walking stopping off at campsits on the way. This looked the perfect place to stop for food and drinks. Walked in and 4 other customers told me knowbody was here. I waited about 20 minutes shouting behind the bar. Walk around the back of the place to the back door knowbody there ever. I eventually left with 8 others customers empty handed. I've had bad service before now but NO service at all is shocking. We walked all day with intentions of eating here and camping just around the corner. Also noted card only no cash. Its time to WAKE UP. Also based of your own posts. The Covid virus is an agenda to stop from running your own businesses and force you in to a cashless societ... Speisekarte ansehen
