The Stage - Speisekarte

We just had lunch at The Stage today. My husband and I both ordered the braised beef dish and it was fantastic. The service from all the staff was outstanding. Highly recommend this place. We will definitely be back soon.

It is rather impressive to find several equally good pubs in Market Deeping and, again, this did not disappoint with a number of real ales that complemented the other choices in this town- so I did not have to try yet another Doombar. Good atmosphere once again.

I had a business meeting and needed a quiet space, this was a perfect choice. There is parking at the rear, so not limited by time restrictions in the local car parks. A warm welcome and a drink order was promptly taken and delivered. Very helpful and respectful staff. Will use again for off site meetings. Speisekarte ansehen

Having visited The Stage in Jan 19 and having a positive experience from the food perspective I was more than disappointed with the experience today. The service which was poor was, compared to the food (runny and tasteless vegetarian tart, oversalted whitebait and practically inedible new potatoes) excellent. This was an experience one can only deal with once in a lifetime.

Went here with a big group for dinner on a Saturday night. The service wasn't great they couldn't get our order right one of the meals was missed of so that person had to wait while everyone else ate their meal. The food was good when it arrived although some dishes seemed to be quite small portions. Desserts weren't great and again the order was not taken correctly. I'd say for what we had it was quite expensive. Not sure I would go again.

Well my last visit was disappointing but today had a lovely panini bacon, Brie and cranberry with small side salad and chips which were great very crispy, too many to finish. One friend had the prawn jacket potato very generous with toppings and side salad, plate cleared as did my other friend whom had tuna and mayonnaise with her jacket potato. Also great value! No pud but girls shared a pot of tea huge and I had a fab hot chocolate. Great place glads it local. Speisekarte ansehen

During our visit to the area, we stopped by for lunch at this restaurant. The menu offered the typical pub favorites, and we decided to dine in the conservatory area located between the bar and the restaurant. After choosing our meals, we ordered at the bar and gave our table number. When our food arrived, I had the cheeseburger which was quite tasty and well-seasoned. My wife ordered the fish burger, and though she found it nice, she mentioned that the fish was a bit small and got lost in the bun. I must say that the staff could use a little more cheerfulness, except for the friendly lady who took our drinks order at the beginning.

We have been a couple of times to the stage and the food on both occasions has been great! After our first visit we decided to visit again with more friends today. The waitress with short brown hair, Middle aged was at the front of house as we arrived into the restaurant. I advised her we had a table booked and her response was “your down there to the right” without taking us to our seats or asking if we had visited before and where we would need to order etc. My friend is a vegetarian and went to request vegetarian gravy and a few portions of mashed potato for the table as that is not out on the carvery. The same waitress just looked at her and said “I’ll go tell them” and another waitress...

We have been a regular customer at the stage quite a long time. We look after a disabled lady and take her there for her tea. I just want to share our experience last night with the restaurant manager named Donna. She served our orders and told us to take the rubbish with us after we finish because last time we were there one of her colleagues is complaining about the tissues we left and other rubbish. And they had a hard time picking up all those tissues. I told her we always tidy up and I, myself wrapped all the tissues in the bag last time.
