The Star - Speisekarte

Food is always great at The Star, I have eaten here a number of times over the last few weeks whilst visiting my granddad.

Great little village pub. Good is more restaurant food than pub grub. But absolutely gorgeous. U do have to book at weekends as they are very busy.

Went with family , 6 adults, the ambience and food were just as I remembered and expected, very friendly and lovely, best place around for a good meal home cooked and choice of ales. Will certainly continue going back. Speisekarte ansehen

The restaurant offers a wide variety of delicious food at affordable prices. The service is excellent with polite and helpful staff. There is also a good selection of cask ales. Additionally, they have a great lunchtime menu available.

Whilst the pub itself looks as though it could do with a lick of paint the quality of food was excellent...I came with my wife and child and we all really enjoyed all our meals and thought the prices were very reasonable ...would thoroughly recommend

Went for midweek lunch, all staff really friendly from the time we entered to the time we left, and food was excellent, plenty of choice. So decided to book again with friends for midweek lunch and then again for Sunday lunch. Would highly recommend. Speisekarte ansehen

My first visit to the Star but hopefully won't be my last. We had dinner there last week and it was a very enjoyable experience. Nice menu choices, good specials board, great food and excellent friendly service. Very good surroundings, good table spacings and table sizes

Visited yesterday Friday 27July with friends for lunch. As always the staff are both friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. We all had salads of a varying nature. I can thoroughly recommend chicken Caesar salad. On each ocaision eating here we have never been rushed.

we were met at the bar and given a seat and drinks ordered, awaiting our table. we found everyone on the staff really cheerful and helpfull all very smartly turned out and tables spotless , we ordered tallahassey chicken and all that went with it, it was lovely as the desert that followed, we found every one pleasant in an establishment thats spotlessly clean inside and out look forward to another visit Speisekarte ansehen
