Really great food and service. The menu may read like many a good pubs menu but the food is superb. Especially like the garlic chilli calamari, a good sized portion, I can still taste the garlic

So my partner and I love this place. The vibe always great, Daniella is so lovely , gave me a special glass of rose for my birthday last night, they really work hard at reinventing the dishes . Good food, if a little expensive for what we got. The fisherman’s board was nice, but small for a sharing platter. We ended up ordering the naked burrito bowl as well because it simply wasn’t enough. The apple and rhubarb tart was also a little small for the money. So why 4 stars? The food was made from good quality ingredients well cooked and Julio our waiter was very good.

Just wanted a light, fairly simple wholesome lunch but the menu was fancy gastro and expensive. I was offered a foot of bread, sadly not an option. Ended up with a fish sharing platter for two which was very disappointing. A few chips, 3 goujons (betreen 2) a king prawn in boa bun which was uninspiring and a fish cake reminisant of a frozen one from costco. I won't be going back.

We booked to go on Friday night as it was my husband's birthday. The service was fantastic and the food was good and reasonably fast. We were blown away by the amazing singer/ guitarist Gavin and his Guitar who is there apparently once a month. He was fantastic. We found out he is playing on the last Saturday in September so will definitely be going. Such a shame he is only there once a month as he definitely seemed to draw a good crowd. Speisekarte ansehen

Lovely meal one of the best we've had in a long time. Surrey Burger, hake, pizza and chocolate brownie are all top class. The servers were all great. They handled Gluten free well and had quite a few options although ours did take a while to be served. Totally let down by the manager and manageresses who looked like they were having a terrible day and couldn't crack a smile let alone pretend to be pleasant. Also, coming from a service industry, I find it poor form for them to be on their phone on a bar stool at the bar and taking up prime tables in the restaurant working on their laptops. Nevertheless, I would recommend the food and the (waitrons) service.

Perfectly cooked meal, I had the halloumi fries to start which were plentiful and chunky, great value for money with a sensational sauce (unfortunately cannot remember the name), an all out medium rare 8oz rump steak with Red Wine Sauce, surf and turf, with truffle. The steak was cooked perfectly, the surf and turf was generous, and full of flavour, however the red wine sauce was average tasting more like a gravy, but overall was lovely including the chips. The wine, to start we shared a £25 Sauvignon blanc, which was average and slightly overpriced, but with my main I had a very nice Cabernet Sauvignon which was very nice and good value for money. We booked a table for my daughter’s birthday in the patio area, when we arrived made to feel that we were being a nuisance by wanting to sit out on the patio, it appeared to have been closed off in preparation for the rugby. When we booked no one tried to make contact with us to advise us of this change. Food order taken , but the order was wrong. My daughter order the prosciutto truffle pizza with burrata, but she got a sticky cheese pizza with prosciutto (very good job she doesn’t have a nut allergy or we would be spending her birthday in A E as it had walnuts on) .
