We were delighted to find a restaurant that welcomes families with a 9-month-old baby. The price per person was reasonable, ranging from £20 to £30. The food quality was impressive, earning a rating of 4 out of 5, and the service was equally commendable, also rated 4 out of 5. This was my first time visiting The Sussex Oak and it did not disappoint. The pub is cosy and at this time of year has two lovely open fires burning, lending a lovely atmosphere. The service was courteous and friendly. There is an extensive menu and I was impressed with the vegetarian selection. This pub will become a regular weekend haunt for me. Vegetarian options: A very good vegetarian selection. Excellent Mac n cheese. Price per person: £40–50

Sorry to have to write this, but our visit to your welcoming pub was spoilt in the dining room by old, rickety, uncomfortable chairs and a sticky table, followed by a disappointing steak dish. The meat was tasty, but overdone the cook obviously did not understand the term 'blue '. The mushrooms were certainly not cooked to order, but much older and were totally frizzled and tasteless whilst the peas were hard and of an inferior kind. All in all, not good value.

Absolutely fantastic! A big shoutout to the entire staff. We enjoyed a wonderful meal after another day of work rebuilding our home in Warnham. The service was prompt and the staff were incredibly attentive. It’s also a great spot to relax with a pint of real ale—my favorite being 'Doom Bar.' Keep up the excellent work!
