"Very disappointing, having been a regular diner here for many years this visit with friends fell short of acceptable. Meals were overcooked and inedible for three out of the four of us. Service was appalling, waited for 35 minutes for food and drink order to be taken and a further 20 minutes between courses. Has there been a change of ownership? Hopefully a one off experience."

Venue,service and atmosphere was excellent. Beef was a little overdone and broccoli was overcooked almost to a mash. Rest of main course and sweet very good.

We asked for a quiet table and sat at a lovely round table in the corner which made it easy for 4 of us to have a good conversation. Everyone enjoyed his/her food. We shall be back

Lovely old pub with spacious pretty garden. Dog friendly, lots of space for kids to play too. Friendly staff and lovely food. Would recommend! You can do a nice walk over from Horsham.

Unfortunately the pie crust was soggy. There was plenty of food but just missed the mark as far as quality and flavour concerned. The toilets also need attention. Having said all this the staff were very hospitable and friendly.
