"REMEMBER TO TAKE AN UMBRELLA! The car park is in a field about a quarter of a mile away from the restaurant. There was light rain upon my arrival and I didn’t have an umbrella in the car so arrived at the table looking slightly damp. Surely there should be a better arrangement from a venue owned by the Dorchester Group?! Food, wine and service were all fine, but this is far from being a cheap restaurant so that’s to be expected."

"I have been meaning to write a review for Coworth Park for a while now. I have been here for afternoon tea 4 times and it never disappoints! The setting is absolutely beautiful, the drawing room is a delight and they always have a pianist playing the piano. The tea is wonderful and the sandwich selection is spot on, plus you have unlimited sandwiches and scones! The cakes are all homemade too and they always give you a goody bag at the end to take home. The service is 5 star, you never pour your own tea and they make sure you have everything you need without being to in your face. On our last trip on Mother's day we had a wonderful waitress who made sure I was always comfortable and they made me a delicious mocktail. My Mum had a fantastic time and at the end she was given some beautiful flowers. I cannot wait to return, I always know the quality is high and the service fantastic. Thank you! :"

"A birthday meal with the family..and previous visits (a few over the last year) prompted us to return. This will be the last time though. Shocking...everything it was like being in Fawlty Towers. Seated quickly and the menu at the table were the only good things. 15 mins later we were attended to, to ask for drinks. We said we were ready to order food, as we had beeb waiting so long, but the waiter insisted on drinks being ordered first. Having gone around the whole table, the waiter asked why my wife was not ordering a drink...which she had already ordered. Seriously, there only 4 of us. Before leaving us, he then tried to take the menu away. 10 mins later, the drinks came out...only 3 ! Eventually got the 4th, and he preceeded to take our food order. 25 mins later, the starters came out. Calamari was seriously had the taste and texture of a thick rubber bands...deep fried. Gross. When the main courses came out, plenty of food for sure, but really salty spaghetti. Tried to grab waiter 's attention...simply ignored. We were just left, even though we were closest to the kitchen/bar area...with 3 empty glasses for the entire meal. You would like to think that someone with integrity, would ask why the finished plates had half the food remaining. Nope, not even a was everything ok? Won 't be back."

It's a must-visit for anyone who appreciates a perfect combination of exquisite food and fantastic hospitality. It made for an amazing birthday dinner for my mom!"

"The restaurant, while aesthetically pleasing both inside and out, is not one that I would recommend. During my lunchtime visit, it took a long time to be served even with their 'butler bell' system. It lacks sufficient vegan options, with only two main dishes on the menu. The vegan burger lacked creativity, and the risotto with sauteed oyster mushrooms was disappointing as it only included one slice of mushroom. The price was expensive for the quality of the meal, with the risotto costing £15.95 and a lime and soda costing £2.20. Overall, I was unimpressed and felt that I could have made a better meal at home. Service was lacking, and I would not return for another meal. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £20–30"
