"I 've been going here since it opened. It is still very nice but the prices have got to a daft level. Anyway, the good stuff the marquee structure erected in covid times is now a semi permanent affair which has been enclosed it is lovely. The staff are all well trained and provide great service. There were four of us having just a simple 2 course lunch. Bread and dipping oils were served fabulous bread. Starters Mrs had a superb mushroom soup, I had 'duck pressing ' a bit dry and not enough quince, Eggs Royale £21! and something else. Mains 2 fillet steaks £52 each , some cheese dish apparently yummy and I had a burger £28! . A couple of bottles of sauvignon blanc. No puddings. Bill with a 10% discount was over £350. Nuts. We had a nice time, but The Barn prices are beyond what it is worth. That said, we are local, so of course we 'll go again!"

"Booked a table for Saturday lunchtime. Arrived to find place completely empty but despite that we were shown to a table for two in a dark corner. Very rustic interior, with a lot of pictures relating to horse racing given proximity to Ascot Racecourse, and well worn menus. Given we were initially only the diners service was prompt but not overly friendly. However, the food more than made up for the lack of a welcome. We shared a cheesy garlic bread to start and then had Spaghetti Napoli and a Don Beni pizza both very generous portions and tasty. We washed all this down with two glasses of Pinot Grigio, a Moretti and cappuccino. Total with tip £75. Shame the service did not match the delicious food. ps: Don Beni is located in an old pub, The White Horse, which closed in circa 1999."

"eating was ok, but not especially, the venue is nice, but the service was bad, waited 20 minutes to order a drink, then I had to call someone. I could see our drinks on the bar, but a waiter came on our food order, who told us that the drinks would come if he turned around, he could almost reach them! 2 of the three servants we met were mad, it felt like we were more inconvenience than anything else."

"Upon arrival, we received a warm welcome and were guided to our table. After we got comfortable, we ordered drinks and perused the menu. We opted for the fixed menu, which offered a fantastic selection. We chose the three-course option. The food was beautifully presented, delicious, generous in portions, and offered excellent value for money. The staff were polite and helpful, striking the perfect balance between attentiveness and allowing us to savor our meal without feeling rushed. A heartfelt thank you and congratulations to the entire team. This was our first visit, but it certainly won't be our last."

"We stopped for lunch on our walk of The Great Park to find a pleasant pub in a picturesque setting. Surprisingly spacious with several interlinked rooms around a generous bar. Just the two cask ales on when we visited and the one sampled was well conditioned and served by friendly staff. Small but sufficient menu. Food was well cooked and presented. An excellent lunch ... Worth another visit. A little on n the expensive end."
