What a fantastic place on the beautiful island of Rousay. Wonderful food and a fantastic location. Super friendly staff as well. This really is a hidden gem!

Came here after taking the boat over. Their fish and chips are great. My daughter was able to get gluten free food which was great. Well worth a visit. Staff are helpful too.

We all had the Fisherman's Platter, which was absolutely delicious! Beautifully presented and excellent value for money. Lovely friendly pub with excellent views and very welcoming staff

My family and I (2 adults 3 children) visited today for lunch whilst on a day trip to Rousay. The staff were lovely, food was very good indeed and the views are sublime. Highly recommended

I absolutely adored this cozy little restaurant. The views were breathtaking and we even spotted seals. They provide binoculars for a closer look. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly.

Staff friendly even though we rang to tell them we would be late.Also as we had a ferry to catch advised us what not to order as it took a long time.The fisherman's platter was perfect for the occasion and would recommend it to anyone who visits the Taversoe.

We spent a week at this restaurant and absolutely loved it! The menu is innovative and offers a variety of options. The food is incredibly tasty and comes out beautifully presented. The views are breathtaking and our room was clean and spacious. The hosts were friendly and they even have a well-stocked bar!

I walked here from the ferry for lunch, and was pleasantly surprised, I had Cullen skink to die for. The dining room was nicely decorated with wonderful views, friendly staff and very reasonable prices. My 5 friends called in after cycling round the island and also loved the soup, and in some cases the beer. A real gem

We stayed for one night and enjoyed dinner and breakfast at the restaurant. At first, we almost missed the entrance as it's quite unassuming, but the staff were very welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home. Carey even helped us when we had a problem with our ferry, speaking to the staff and putting us at ease. The food was delicious and we had a great time chatting with other guests, enjoying the fine cuisine, and relaxing at the bar. Despite the weather, they also gave us recommendations for nice places to visit. The views overlooking the sound to the mainland were stunning, and we appreciated the patio with chairs for each room where we could sit and take it all in.
