The service and food at this restaurant were outstanding. All four of us ordered different meals and they were all delicious. Sarah, our server, was friendly, helpful, and efficient. The prices were reasonable for the quality of the food.

My husband and I went out for a birthday lunch and ordered steaks, but they were terrible. The sirloins were tough and the side salad was tiny. It was not worth the money. We were shocked to see a dog sitting at a table, eating food off the table. We feel that Greene Kings has really declined in quality.

We decided to have dinner in The Testwood restaurant , prior to a family party in the conservatory . The food was a really good standard : Battered Halloumi light as a feather and Scampi the same -really light and not greasy at all . The service was excellent , all staff that we met were friendly and welcoming . Even coming back to check we were happy with our food -a sign of professional service . Speisekarte ansehen

I can’t recommend here enough, bar a few things everything was amazing and had improved so much since our visit back in 2019. The food was hot and enjoyable, order at the bar, staff were friendly and helpful and the food didn’t take long to arrive and staff cleared table quickly. There was a good variety on the menu. My only grumble would be the ladies toilets could do with a refit with several holes in the wall.

17:15 Sat 2nd Sept. Both of the two blond barmaids ignored my presence whilst I was stood at the bar for 15 minutes, continuing to serve other customers to the side of the bar time and time again. Really poor service. Then proceeded to serve a pint of fosters which I took outside and found it had bits of rolling tobacco swimming in it. Shame because the place itself appeared ok and the outside beer garden was nice.

Visited recently, on a Monday evening, after a day at Paultons, as was staying nearby. Had a lovely evening, and all six of us had a lovely meal. Atmosphere was great. Restaurant is lovely and clean, good food and staff are so friendly. Special shout out to Beth, who took time to engage with us and also put a birthday candle in my granddaughters dessert and we sang happy birthday to her. There was also another lady who served us, but apologies, we didn’t get her name, but so friendly. If you’re in this area, this place is a must. We’ll be back again, for sure. Speisekarte ansehen

Five of us for Saturday lunch here, including one coeliac, and one wheelchair user. NGCI Menu available, and GF options well explained by the waitress. Wheelchair access easy, even to our corner table, although access to disabled loo was slightly obstructed by adjacent tables. Service was very good, with an attentive helpful waitress, (Phebe? . Food was enjoyed by all, especially the cheesy garlic bread, and the meal including drinks, was good value. Perhaps availability of a small serving for pensioners with smaller appetites may be a useful addition to the menu. Overall, a very satisfying lunch..

Regular visitor to this pub however, a recent change in menus meant we had a poor visit today, many of the favourites we would usually enjoy have been removed and actually the menu had decreased quite a bit and therefore was not as much to choose from. Our children’s food was bought out in good time however two had almost finished before the adults meals arrived. When I went to order another drink I was met with the presents on a rather large dog stood with his filthy paws on the bar area, which seemed completely acceptable to the bar staff. Unfortunately due to the last of options, we won’t be visiting as regularly any more.

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant for my daughter's birthday! We were in the area visiting Paultons and wanted to dine somewhere close by. After reading the reviews, we decided to give this place a try and we were not disappointed. The chicken and ham pie was delicious and my daughter enjoyed her meal as well. The rest of our party was also very satisfied with their dishes. The staff went above and beyond by surprising my daughter with a candle in her dessert without us even asking, showing great attention to detail.
