"I traveled from chainring to flamstead (and brandyate to play the organ at the 2 churches around 0715. I had booked a meal in this pub on facebook in advance. I was sure ready for Sunday afternoon until 1240 and it wasn't. it came fast (I came in before the rush and was nice and hot. there was a surprisingly large but welcome selection of vegetables; a small amount of each (swede carrot, cauliflower (cheese, cauliflower, cauliflower, pfarrer, I forgot the others! 3 bratspitschen, Yorkshire doll and some fill with the 2 slices of gammon grit. a clean plate was returned. the following apple crumb was delicious and absolutely perfect. I think this place has just changed the hands and it wasn't the karvery set-up shown in the pictures. I was also hit by the polite way a young waitress asked a few (which only wanted to drink to move out of the escaping area that was very busy."

Went for Sunday Roast, wasn’t the best and only warm, even the extra gravy wasn’t hot. Won’t be returning.

Absolutely delicious Sunday roast. The pub had a welcoming atmosphere and the staff were extremely polite and very accommodating. I can recommend the roast especially the beef. We ordered extra Yorkshire puddings as they were so yummy. Very child friendly too!

We decided to take a drive to a countryside pub and stopped at this restaurant for lunch. The food was of high quality, freshly cooked, and served piping hot. The atmosphere was lovely, friendly, and relaxed, with ambient music and professional staff. We will definitely be returning in the future.

beautiful, welcoming pub with character. we stopped after a day and were warmly welcomed. we ordered goatery and garnel, both of which were delicious followed by an equally delicious apple crumb. the renter and the renter were incredibly nice people, clear working. hard to deliver excellent personal service. we will visit again.

Amazing home cooked sunday carvery, easily the best Roast I have had anywhere locally. The warm chocolate brownie and icecream was the best I have ever tasted and it's my go to pudding! Staff are really friendly and make you feel really welcome which can...be unusual in a village pub! Would highly recommend and will definitely be back.

the staff was nice and pleasant. great location. really well appreciated. many different drinks, will try to eat next time I stay in the opposite. looked outside in the sunshine. was really bad. will return. the only small feedback I can give is...small garden care in outdoor seating and it is possible to replace few outside benches. except this beautiful place.

We recently enjoyed a delicious Sunday roast at this restaurant. There were great vegetarian options available, and the honey roasted parsnips were especially tasty. The portions of vegetables were very generous. Cally provided exceptional service, working hard to ensure everyone was taken care of. We definitely plan on returning in the future. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

this was our first visit to this beautiful little pub that has new owners who work very hard to visit it to an excellent place. a lot of care was taken over the outside space, which is now so fenced for children....The tables are painted and there was a topping on everyone. the toilets (I only visited the ladies : were top class and the little fairy lights in the bar gave him a cozy feeling. we received a very kind greeting and would certainly visit again if we are in the opposite.

I was pleasantly surprised by my experience at this restaurant. The service was impeccable, with one gentleman handling all tasks with a friendly and helpful attitude. I ordered the steak and kidney pudding, mashed potatoes, peas, and extra gravy. The meal was piping hot, delicious, and served in a generous portion (which I managed to finish entirely). Although I struggled to find information online beforehand, I understand that the limited menu is due to current circumstances. Despite this, I would highly recommend this restaurant and plan to return in the future.

"Yammin-Yummy says. ... 5 stars ... also a rarely awarded- 'beezybonus'. . . now, where do I begin to begin with such an amazingly appealing selection of freshly prepared foods that one would naturally expect that, already cooked, sitting, waiting for the next hungry expected customers. this can sometimes cook up to 10-20-50mins before they are placed in front of them. not here. freshly cooked. now this beautiful example of a traditional 'fish chip love affair, established over generations of Friday nights, was beautifully designed to tell their mouth, tonge taste panties, please attach their belts, and then it is about them an incredible arbor ride. ... one who seems to go up just as once they decided what's going in their mouth first (at least the crispy tail end) begins their incredible journey up; as their eyebrows increase during thinking, omg that 's sooo different good, light, crispy teig as I've never tasted in my 37 years since the beginning in the food industry. And then I made the mistake of dipping my squid in the homemade tartaric acid sauce. that is when the 1st massive fear happened, as I thought, oh my days; the better then mean, re-entry, deeper, actually cure my wrist action, to ensure maximum absorption of this sweet/creamy/tart/caper filled taste, as I reached for a chip to accompany, strengthen the excellent experience I thought stupid would be a 'standard thing'. Now I took care of you like this, but I have seen on my chips a few each mouthful was an experience, depending on how I stacked the fork, hahahaha. the fish was so fresh that I was looking on my teller sand. ... to dedicate a joy to each chip. ... the muddy heaps, normally warmed, not microshaft to a mass-hotter-then-the-sun, went a tasty bite, and quickly also, for once. the lemon shattered haddock had to be tied to the plate, because this teig was so light that it almost raised to the deck. but as soon as this handmade tasty tartaric acid sauce meets, any responsible 'handler-of-the-fork', wants to make sure that its only trajectory can be swallowed in their waiting swallow. It was so good, I couldn't stand to leave a single diesel and with this tartaric acid sauce, which even made a bulky chip, was nothing left, I was ashamed to ask the cook the recipe for 'this sauce', as he made such a light oil-free beautiful teig. the staff is very attentive, courteous, with a beautiful large sitting area also. get yourself here quickly bungalows to make an ordinary experience, in an excellent exciting eating expedition into a court that we all know so well, but so different. ... enjoy."

"Ever since they opened, I 've been for family gatherings, social events and dates and every time it has not disappointed. The staff are always welcoming and have a positive attitude. They are attentive, happily explaining the menu and how food should be ordered making recommendations. The menu itself doesn 't overwhelm with choice and is perfect for those with all tastes. There are plenty of veggie options and the wine is impeccably selected. The food is absolutely delicious and very well presented. The quality is evident. The portion sizes are perfect and not just stomach fillers (e.g. excess bread or rice). Every bite feels worth it. Please be aware that this restaurant is about sharing and each dish is made for it. There are no 'courses '. It 's about ordering the dishes you want and they will arrive when ready. With all the above in mind, this does mean that the prices are on the higher end and with alcohol you can expect to spend around £40 per person if you also include desserts (which are also incredible, especially the Creme brûlée). This might seem expensive, but remember, it 's about the experience, not just the food! Tabure is worth every penny in my humble opinion. If it 's just the two of you and you 'd like something different with a significant other, I 'd highly suggest requesting seats at the chefs table over looking the charcoal grill! It 's amazing watching the chefs work their magic and adds so much to the experience that most restaurants don 't provide."
