"Been here a couple of times and the food has always been spot on. Very dog friendly and they welcomed him with open arms and the locals were very welcoming of him too! We are not local but when we go for a walk in epping forest, we end up at the three colts because they are reliable, lovely and always get the food and service spot on. The lamb roast was faultless. Parking: It's always busy so you're lucky if you can get a space. I was just thankful that the permits on a Sunday had finished by a certain I arrived. Well worth the hassle of finding parking though. It's on a one easy street. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Fish and Chips, Roast Lamb Parking space: Difficult to find parking"

At first I thought this pub would be too small for me as it is run by one of Britain’s tiniest men but boy was I wrong! The pints are all 500ml plus, the toilets are all full size. Incredible experience and cannot wait to get back there again.

Lovely local, very friendly staff and they sell a good selection of food and drinks. If I HAD to give one criticism (and reason for 4 rather than 5 stars) it would be the value for money on sandwiches. Charging far too much if only being given run of the mill ready sliced white bread. Price warrants the options of panini/baguettes/bloomers.
