The Three Horseshoes

I can recommend the 3 horse shoes. the accommodation is a very high standard, great atmosphere in the bar and great eating (noon, evening meal and breakfast) and great service! many thanks to all employees!

we were here for two nights and the breakfast was amazing. the pancakes should die for, especially thanks to the cook. could not be more helpful and courteous highly recommended if they are looking to stay somewhere in barnard castle

fantastic meal on Friday night. we really liked it. black pudding star....mmmmmmmm..Fish-Torte-Starter....mmmmmmmm...Ribs....mmmmm beautiful net and then shared the plate of trio of desserts mmmmm. complication to cook. great atmosphere.

clean, great beer, good eating, friendly and efficient staff, we will be back! one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, and as a tour musician I have stayed a lot, the breakfast is beautiful, which has been a very pleasant stay! I recommend to stay this beautiful place

We both had a beautiful meal yesterday in the inclosed garden at the back of the hotel( we have a small dog that’s why we were out there) but dogs are welcome . The staff are very good and quick to serve you, good selection of food to chose from on the menu and nice choice of drinks and ales

we visit barnard castle often, but were never here and so after a nice walk along the river to egglestone and back we dived here. we sat outside in the backyard and both had one of their salads. my grilled halloumi with avocado and granatapfelkern was really delicious. goes back in definitiw.

Stopped for quick lunch on way home. Meal was steak sandwich with chips and salad. It was tasty and came quickly so that was good. Had scone and tea to finish which was very tasty. My wife had the choclate brownie with raspberries which she said was to die for lol. Nice place with friendly service. Also decor was lovely and cosy.

we stayed on Saturday night in barnard castle and had a very pleasant room in the stables a 3 minutes to foot when that was from the main building and it is a well maintained building and my first impression was very clean. our room was small, but comfortable and very sufficient for overnight. the breakfast was served in the main building and there is a very plentiful menu and eating was very well prepared. our only problem was that the postcode has taken us somewhere completely random, not sure whether it was a problem with my satnav or not.

we had here this afternoon. not for the first time. I had the fish cake as a starter and then the fish finger sandwich. my better half had the fish and chips. now we are both hard to please when we eat and lately we had so much disappointment with service, quality and cost. Today we were treated with some first-class foods that did not require a second hypothec. eating was quite simply extraordinary and we will return to see her again. many thanks for the meal and remain true to use great deeds and not tear off their customers like many do. we are making
