"Fantastic pub and restaurant. Staff are friendly and very accommodating. All the food was amazing, the steak was out of this world. The Garden was lovely with perfect views. Also kids really enjoyed the play area. Would highly recommend."

"Myself and four friends have just spent the most lovely evening at this little gem of a restaurant. I really could not fault it. From the atmosphere, to the oh so delicious food, to the exceptionally friendly service, this is an Italian gastronomic experience not to be missed. "The food was delicious but this is not a restaurant for families with children. We took our 2 children (3 years old and 1 year old) for a lunch meal and were made to feel really unwelcome mostly by some of the other diners but also by staff. We have been there before in adult only parties and everything was fine so perhaps they just need to clarify that they don’t want children visiting. My children sat in their seats the entire time and did make a normal level of noise for children (just chatting to us mostly) but were in no way badly behaved or disruptive. Despite this the staff were quite rude to our children rather than speaking to us about any concerns so we ended up cutting our meal short and leaving as we were all upset. Was a shame as the food is lovely."

"This was our first time visiting the Hare pub and right from entering the establishment it felt a friendly place. The staff were very polite and obliging. Everything, tables, chairs, crockery and utensils appeared clean and of nice quality. We ordered our food from the nice selection of dishes available. It didn't seem like very long before the meals arrived at our table, all at the same time and piping hot. If I had one minor suggestion to the servers, it would be that any salad accompaniments should be brought to the table first, rather than waiting for it to arrive after the main hot ingredients were already sitting in front of us, but this was only a matter of a minute or so. The sea bass ordered was perfectly cooked and delicious, my chips were excellent and no complaints at all from the rest of our party regarding any of their meals. Clean plates all round must be a good sign for any business serving food. The guest beer we had was Hobgoblin ruby red and was just as it should be. As usual the desserts in all these places are overpriced for what they are, however what we did have was very nice. Overall our visit was a complete success and all thanks to the great staff and good chefs. Value for money I would say was good and as such we will definitely be booking again in the near future. "Just wanted to say how pleased we are with the food and service we have had over the years at the Taste Of India in Rothwell either takeaway or eat in at the restaurant it’s always excellent food.The staff are always friendly and nothing is too much to ask for.We especially like the takeaway as if you make a last minute decision in the evening and fancy treating yourself to a takeaway it’s ready in under half an hour if collecting. The food is always spot on either collecting or having it delivered.I would highly recommend you trying the Taste Of India if you haven’t tried them before. You will not know what you have been missing unless you do.RegardsPeter"

"We were supposed to be a party of 4, but 2 of our group did not show up. It was their loss. We were seated at a table for 2, which was completely understandable as the restaurant was very busy. I ordered a fillet steak cooked medium, and my friend ordered a pasta dish. Both meals were excellent. We also enjoyed a gin and tonic, as well as a Pepsi, and finished off with coffee. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. This was my third time dining at this restaurant, and each visit has been excellent. I highly recommend dining in at this establishment."
