The Torrance Inn - Speisekarte

Went in for lunch. We were there for hours and the service was pretty slow. Not too busy but staff constantly answering the phone to take more bookings instead of serving tables waiting. Tried to catch the servers a few times to order dessert...but no luck. Food was lovely though.

Yes another very tasty meal at the Torrance Inn , it tasted even better than usual as it had been a long time since we had been able to go Food never disappoints, best Pate anywhere . Staff are alway pleasant and efficient and all...COVID practices well and truly in place . Can’t wait to return

We used the Torrance Inn today for takeaway as my mum still isn't confident going into restaurants. Service was fantastic and many thanks to the young chap who brought the food out to the car. I had made a reservation for a table at this restaurant, and upon arrival, I entered through the back door (and exited through the front door). It was a Thursday lunchtime, and I'm not sure if it was due to the ongoing Covid restrictions being lifted or the nice weather, but the restaurant seemed relatively quiet. I ordered a couple of appetizers and main dishes. The service was good, and the food served was pleasant pub fare.

Hi, I visited the restaurant today and had the chicken goujons which I believe were shop bought or from a different supplier. They were fantastic before, but now they seem to have changed them. The smell was great before the lockdown. The prawns in a spicy sauce were also fantastic, I wish they would bring them back. I would like to have the pate with toast instead of oatcakes. Overall, I don't think I will be returning for a while.

Just back from having a meal , very safe and service was great , the chicken goujons have always been a favourite of mine , always plump mini chicken fillets with a real crispy crunchy coating , unfortunately not today just your bog standard breaded...chicken strips , please go back to your original supplier , also all the extra fruit bits we are so used to getting have gone , as has the coleslaw , The Torrance in. Has always been a bit better than pub grub , however not today just on a par with all the other pubs , please let this just be covid thing and hopefully standards will return once all this is over . After finally getting settled in our new house, my friends and I decided to explore the restaurants in the area and chose this charming little establishment. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. We started with breaded mushrooms and hickory pate, both of which were delicious. For our main courses, we had the steak pie and vegetable lasagne, both of which were extremely tasty. The meat in the pie was tender and the vegetables in the lasagne were fresh and flavorful. If you find yourself in the Torrance area, definitely stop by this restaurant - you won't be disappointed with the food and atmosphere.

We’ve had several takeaway meals during lockdown which we enjoyed very much. The Torrance Inn is now open to dine in and today we enjoyed a meal there. Masks must be worn until you are seated. Hand sanitiser is clearly available at the entrance and...at the entrance to the toilets. This is a family run restaurant and clearly the family have paid much detailed attention to current guidelines to keep themselves and customers safe. Food was as usual a very high standard, mouthwatering steak pie and the house salad which is a work of art and absolutely delicious. Staff are warm, attentive and friendly whilst adhering to social distancing. We very much appreciate all your efforts. Thank you.

I go to this great wee place often and have never had a disappointing meal. PATE is absolutely fabulous (I took some away) fir my Xnas starter (thanks guys it went down a storm). Lasagna uhhh home made delicious comfort food. My Daughter loves the...steak pie she never eats veg unless its with steak pie in The Torrance Inn year old). The salads are soo lovely lots of variety. My Dad loves their pakora starter and prawn cocktail. Hubby always goes for soup and says every time It's the best but then tries to steal my Pate.
