Nice homely pub, with nice log burner on a freezing cold night. Nice selection of ales, friendly staff and the breakfast was lovely.

Came in for lunch on a day trip to Lytham lovely pub, good food and drinks, service was fast and friendly. Overall a great Wetherspoons.

Had burger and chip other had fish and chips ! Chips were like oven chips that were cooked last year then microwaved ! Completely inedible The beef burger tastes of a strange oil not meat and could be used as golf ball. Fish seemed ok surprisingly but to scared to eat ! Beer is brilliant,

So disappointed Wetherspoons usually offer great service, but today, we have been waiting for 45 minutes for a bowl of chips, halloumi fries and chicken strips. I know they are busy, but this is far below their normal standards. 55 minutes later, Still not arrived, by the way Spoken to Manager who says that if we'd had ordered at the Bar, rather than the app, we'd have been told there's an hour's wait for food. What's the point of the app, then? Very unhappy with her dismissive attitude.

Never got the food I ordered and somehow treated like I was unreasonable. Feels like everyone working here has never spoken to a real life person before. I had to ask for my food 3 times after being told to sit and wait it was then forgotten all together. Staff walking around who had absolutely no time to speak to me when I tried to ask. 2 young lads bringing food out were just arrogant and ignorant. How they've got a job anywhere is beyond me. Unfortunately the place is just ruined by staff who don't care and lack the people skills to work in a busy environment.

Been here a couple of times in the past and has always enjoyed my meals, service and the atmosphere. This particular occasion my breakfast was cold and the muffin completely uncooked, partner advised me to tell the staff but as it was only a muffin egg and sausage I didn 't feel necessary. My partner took my little boy to the toilet before we left and stated my son had the giggles as there were 'toilet ' noises coming from one of the cubicles. He then witnessed a member of staff come out of this cubicle, flush the chain walk out and not wash his hands. This member of staff is serving food to customers. While staying in St Annes on Sea we always frequent Wetherspoons, we called in for breakfast, used the app as it’s a lot quicker and saves you cueing to be served. Both of us ordered the traditional breakfast, it came within 10mins, It was cold so I went to the bar and asked the lad behind if they would collect our plates and take them to be heated up, to which he kind of rolled his eyes,5 mins later we got them back, slightly warmer. I am a fan of wetherspoons and regularly frequent the Trawl Boat. Prices are up but it’s a business and costs and margins are a fact of life. Recently though the quality of food we have been presented with has been consistently poor. If you give a choice of how a steak is cooked and you choose ‘rare’ you don’t expect something that anywhere else would be classed as well done. To then be told by the manager that it is rare based on the probe temperature during cooking. How long it had been left under lights etc. subsequent to that is anyone’s guess. We would just like to congratulate Steve and all the hard working staff at the Trawl Boat Inn for their fantastic service over the Christmas and New Year period. We are regular visitors to this pub and have witnessed all the trials and tribulations the staff have to go through to provide good service in both meals and drinks to an everchanging clientele as they try to please all of the people all of the time. An impossible task. On the whole they do a marvellous job preparing and serving meals, trying to make sure everyone gets served in order, clearing tables as fast as they can.
