There 's nothing like going through a Small Door of an entrance into the sound of squeaky floorboards of a lovely Old Hotel. This hotel has plenty of character unfortunately I 've not had the privilege of staying here overnight or any kind of dinner or even breakfast, however I 've dropped off lots of people here and I 've not heard one bad thing about it.

eating was fantastic, and the place itself is one of my favorites. it is so relaxing and warm. this time we were very disappointed by the service, it got worse. there was no communication between the waiting staff. everyone was very nice, especially the manager, but we waited a long time for our drinks that did not arrive at the same time. this continued throughout the whole meal.

Mmm The Oak Room has slipped since my last visit a couple of years ago. The food, whilst good, imaginative and very well presented , was of nouvelle cuisine portion sizes and Michelin prices. The wine list was good but a fair bit over priced. All in all a return visit is unlikely. The splendid room was spoiled byn thumping wedding disco music from a function next door and was a bit chilly almost forgiveable as it was 4 degrees outside.

beautiful hotel, beautiful oak dining room rooms only pamper, but the hidden blue carpet, which is attached to the wall and completely characterized by the rest of the building. interesting challenge of the brain to leave the parking space in the darkness, unless they stumble over the intermediary that is a distance from the park. the food service was very good, although bellini was disappointing as the champagne glass was served only 2/3 full. Maître’d was very good, obviously well trained and well spoken

we had a great lunch card yesterday in the tudor room. it is in the did a room, with perhaps 8 tables overall, and a bit dark, but with beautiful view of the beautiful gardens that are worth visiting. the staff was very friendly and took the time to thoroughly explain each court. they were particularly attentive, maybe something too much so (constantly looking at us), but it did not spoil the experience as eating was really high-quality, definitiw worth a Michelin star. we were greeted with some beautiful canapés, followed by a small olive oil and exalted pre-starter, which subtle and refreshing, even though on the small side. the brot and the butter were very nice, warm and crusty as it sho...
