"I have been a loyal customer of The West Park restaurant since its relaunch, but I must admit that I am struggling to find reasons to continue dining there in the future. I am part of a breakfast club and unfortunately, the breakfast offerings are not up to par. The poached eggs are often overcooked and the bacon is tough like shoe leather. I have to specifically request toast, even though it should be included. The quality has deteriorated so much that we have decided to find another venue. It is disappointing to see things go so wrong. Recently, I brought clients there for dinner and it was a disappointment. The ribeye, ordered medium rare, was well done and I could only eat half of it, as could my guest. The chips had a powdery texture and were unappetizing. Despite the friendly service from an Italian waiter who checked on us, I did not want to spoil his night by complaining. I understand the challenges faced by front-of-house staff, but it is unfair for them to bear the brunt of the kitchen's shortcomings. I do not wish to cause any trouble and would appreciate it if this issue could be addressed, as I do want to continue supporting The West Park in the future."

The restaurant is in a wonderful location with a lovely ambiance. The hostess was very welcoming and the service from the server was outstanding. Jessica was friendly and efficient.

The restaurant is delightful, offering an interesting menu and a wonderful wine selection. However, the service was a tad slow. The chef could enhance the dishes by adding more seasoning.

Service very good. Cocktails superb. 2 starters good. Down hill after that. Steak tuff, chips rubbery, other 3 mains poor for quality of establishment. Deserts didn’t fair much better. Won’t be going back !!!!

The food is good value for money with a good choice. The service was good. The venue was quiet as it was a Monday evening but it didn’t spoil the night. The decor in the restaurant is lovely although a little dark

The restaurant lacked atmosphere. We were sat down at a table next to a glass door with a private party going on in the adjoining room. We moved table which was next to the air conditioning unit which was blowing out cold air. The food was very nice but the other things spoiled our experience. We won't be going back soon .

Service was good. But the food portions were terrible. We were all disappointed. Especially with the trout, the fillet was a starter size if that. Therefore very expensive for what we got. As was the meat sharing board £16.95. They need to perhaps re evaluate their portions, otherwise people will go elsewhere which might be happening as it was very quiet for a Saturday night.
