"Stayed in a damp room at the end of the corridor. Didn't seem to have had fresh air in it for a long time. Mold on the net curtains and an extractor fan that sounded like a jet engine taking off. The court yard is shabby and needs attention, along with the rooms. However, the pub is actually pretty decent. Service at dinner was good and the food was all okay. Not a place for a 5* meal but we weren't disappointed. A decent place to stop off on the M3. Rooms: 2 Service: 4 Location: 4"

Warm, friendly with excellent food. What more could we ask for. After a busy Christmas cooking at home, we felt we could do with a break and let someone else do the hard work. We are always served with excellent food and service here and feel welcome. Service: 5

I recently stayed there for a couple of nights to attend a wedding ceremony. The location is convenient, and the room was spacious and comfortable, although it could have benefited from a heated towel rail in the bathroom. Considering the price, it offered great value. Overall, I would rate the rooms and service as 4 out of 5, and I would also give the location a 4 out of 5. Hotel highlights: Excellent value for money.
