Nice setting, tired pub, friendly staff. Poor food eg old steak pie hard and overcooked. It felt on it’s last legs not going back

Had a lovely meal, roast lamb melted in your mouth, hubbie said beef was the best ever. Very dog friendly too. Off for another meal this evening

We visited this past week and the pizza was absolutely terrible , probably frozen, hard as nails. The gammon seemed better. The wait was over an hour in a fairly empty pub, the staff were very nice

The staff was very welcoming and made us feel right at home. The food was excellent. The restaurant has a charming rustic feel, and it is well-maintained. Overall, it was a great value for the money.

First night of our holiday, everywhere was fully booked so we went here as a last resort as it was the closest pub. Had read the reviews so really wasn't keen. It lived up to its reviews; not very good quality. Staff, just one lady,...was lovely and friendly but busy. Unfortunately, I would not return.

Whilst on holiday in North Wales, we took the opportunity to visit the local pub the Wheatsheaf Inn and have a meal. The pub itself is really oldy worldly as it is over 200 years old. The bar staff and catering staff were really friendly....We enjoyed a beautiful three course meal in their restaurant. I'd like to thank them for turning a cloudy Sunday afternoon into a brighter day.

staying on the local camping site (a short walk away) we decided to visit the wheatsheaf for a few pints before dinner while giving the dog a little exercise. we arrived soon after 17 o'clock (opening time on Tuesday). we tried the hand-picked Cask-Ale... (not sure the name abbey something, beautiful pint) also the caught peroni and cider, all very pale. we sat in the garden that was quickly filled up. everyone was very friendly and welcoming. dog-friendly also.
