Popped in for a quick lunch. Good food served quickly by friendly staff. Quite rustic inside.

Had a wonderful evening here with my family, celebrating my graduation. Superb service and food. I would definitely recommend this venue.

Really really friendly, found them in pub stopovers for camper vans. Free parking for campers, just buy a pint. Great place, highly recommended.

Very nice pub with great very attentive staff. Baguettes were delicious and well packed. The calamari strips from the specials board were very good indeed. Great pints of ale, they keep the beer well. Top marks

We needed some food after a 6 mile walk around the woods in Walters Ash so decided to give The Wheel a go. We had a warm welcome before being seated. The food was really good and great value. Will be coming back again for sure.

You can't do better than The Wheel as your local area great pub with superb food. Nothing fancy just proper pub grub do so well! Tuesday had one of the specials each, Chicken a la King, delicious! Friday Chilli and Rice always so good then Sunday roast beef, you cannot get a better proper Sunday roast than here. Much more expensive places cannot get it right! Thoroughly recommend this excellent pub for beer, food and service. Thank you

Spent two nights here in our Motorhome in the car park. Myself and my husband and my brother and sister in law in their Motorhome. We have never had such a warm welcome. We felt like royalty! The spaces were coned off for our arrival and we were offered free electric hookup. Had a great night drinking Friday and went in for delicious food and drinks Saturday night. They even brought the dog a bed so she didn’t have to lie on the floor. All staff were super helpful and friendly and great atmosphere in the pub. We will 100% be back again and again! Thanks all for a truly fabulous weekend

Lovely pub with a car park, close to Hughenden manor. 2 lovely labradors greeted us followed by friendly and helpful staff who showed us to our table. The food was lovely, especially the chips and the prices were reasonable. I must note that despite being a Greene King Pub they don't honour the 15% friends and family discount which could affect other Greene King offers from the AA for example. Thankfully the prices are reasonable so this isn't a problem. Coffee is simple, no lattes or Cappuccinos available but it is a pub after all. I would happily return and I would recommend it to a friend.
