Was at the dog end of a long, long bike ride and I'd been fantasising about a cola and salted snacks for at least 25km. These lovely people had just opened and greeted me warmly and made those dreams come true. A great welcome, lovely looking line up of beers, I'll be back! This charming, family-owned country pub is located in a lovely village near Cheddar. As you enter, you're welcomed by stone walls and wooden beams, which create a warm atmosphere. The pub also features a spacious beer garden, perfect for enjoying sunny weather. The main bar area is cozy for both drinking and dining, while a games room is available on the opposite side of the bar. During my visit, I was pleased to find two well-maintained real ales, so I decided to try one of each. I highly recommend stopping by this pub if you’re in the area. It's also dog-friendly!

Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by the owners, who were incredibly friendly and courteous. They were wonderful with our children and our dog, making it a lovely family atmosphere. The food was outstanding; we enjoyed ploughman’s lunches, jacket potatoes, and sandwiches. My ploughman’s was delicious! The kids had a blast playing pool and had free access to the jukebox, which they loved—definitely a nice treat. The owners were such delightful people, happy to chat and make us feel welcome. I’m sorry I didn’t catch your names, but if you see this, thank you for everything. We’ll definitely be returning next year. I highly recommend visiting this place! Speisekarte ansehen
