"I had a very welcoming experience as soon as I entered the restaurant. The staff were friendly and even acknowledged our dog warmly, giving him treats. The dinner was outstanding and served promptly. It was hot and tasty, and the prices were reasonable. We had a great family dinner and there was plenty of parking at the back of the restaurant. Thank you for a wonderful experience!"

"Plenty of parking available. We have visited this restaurant twice in the past three days, which speaks volumes about how much we enjoyed our meals. Both times, the food was excellent. The first night, we ordered from the main menu and were impressed with the great selection and our delicious choices. Tonight, we had a set meal for a group of 24 and everyone enjoyed their excellent steak. The service was top-notch, with all meals being served together and everyone leaving with clean plates. A big thank you to Poachers (and Dom) for the great experience. The atmosphere of the restaurant is welcoming and cozy, making everyone feel right at home. "Firstly, I 'll say that the restaurant area was lovely if a little cold (it was a very cold day! . Likewise, staff were all friendly. They couldn 't offer tea or coffee due to the pipes having frozen but could offer hot chocolate, so no big deal. The reason I 'm giving this two stars when it could easily be four or five is simple: I was made to feel like my custom didn 't matter. My daughter had the kids breakfast, my wife had the eggs royale and I had the main breakfast. I don 't like beans or eggs, never have and never will! I asked if, as I was wasn 't having beans or eggs, whether I could have an extra rasher of bacon. I was told that they could add any additional meat, but they could add on more toast or hash browns. Fair enough. I asked for a hash brown instead, and the waitress said 'do you want two? ' Yes please. Two minutes later, the waitress came back and told me that the person in the kitchen (I assume either the chef or the owner said that I could only have one harsh brown, and would I like to pay for the other one?! I declined paying for one as politely as I could muster. Honestly, it isn 't the hash brown itself, it 's the principle here. I was made to feel like my custom didn 't matter. An extra hash brown would have cost next to nothing certainly not more than the eggs and baked beans I 'd omitted. It 's such a simple thing, but coming back to the table to tell me I could only have one felt demeaning quite frankly, especially as the waitress herself had suggested it! The breakfast was nice but the flippant treatment ruined the vibes for me. Customer care matters!"

"Food was not nice at all, no flavour everything was missing salt, to much tumric that's all you could smell. Breads were thick and grease. It was not worth the price at all, will never order again. They have not updated website with a new prices so be careful as you will be charged more then you think. Vegetarian options: Yes Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £70–80"

"So visited here on the December as a party of . We was seated in the bar area which to be honest was noisy , open and generally lacked any atmosphere. We ordered drinks and was given menus one normal one Xmas...menu , this was course for . The options were very good . Our guests decided to order from the normal menu chilli con carne steak and kidney pie . We both ordered from the Xmas special menu king prawn with sweet chilli sauce cod loin with new potatoes broccoli and mustard sauce . The waiter was terrible !! He took our orders didn’t speak and totally got it wrong . Our guests meal came out but no sign of our starters I asked s as mother member of staff to be informed no starters where written down . So a min wait while it was cooked . Food was ok when it arrived . Then our main meal arrived which was totally different to what we had ordered . Cod loin yes but with spicy tomato sauce. Staff tried to make amends but sadly the level of incompetence and waiting times was just ridiculous . Gave up , money for our meal returned a bottle of wine as a gesture of apology and off we went . Sadly won’t return . So many mess ups was had to list them all ."
