The breakfast options are fantastic with generous portions and perfectly cooked poached eggs. The restaurant offers great value and uses locally sourced ingredients.

Eaten here today food ok chips very bad looked and tasted liked they had been cooked many times staff didn’t ask how meal was ,so they must think they are too good ! Sadly not ,to full of themselves!

Meal for 7 here, and we were very happy with everything. It is a lovely pub, with plenty of character. The food is excellent, well prepared and very tasty. It was busy as well which is always a good sign. We shall be going back soon. Speisekarte ansehen

The staff at this restaurant were fantastic and went above and beyond to accommodate us. However, we were disappointed by the poor quality of the food. The ribs were tough and the red mullet had a strange texture. It's a shame that the wonderful staff were overshadowed by the subpar food.

Decided to try this place on my way back south from Norwich. Surprised to find superb food from an extensive menu. Polite if slightly cool service. Late Saturday afternoon between lunch and evening dining time I expected dishes would be limited to microwaved food but no, all things were available. I asked for some changes to my advertised meal which were accommodated without problem. Reasonably priced. Clean airy restaurant in a number of small rooms. Plenty of car parking but leaving car park onto the main road can be difficult if not dangerous.

.....need I say more !?. My Wife and I have been popping into this pub a couple of times a year for the last 8 years on our way to Norwich and have never left disappointed. The meals are both big on quantity and quality and the home made sticky toffee pudding is without doubt, one of the best things I have ever eaten. The staff are friendly and attentive and the whole pub oozes a feeling of relaxation and niceness. I have booked a couple of rooms as Im taking my Dad there to stay for a few nights this week. I made a reservation for six people on the same day and informed the restaurant staff about a food allergy in our group. They assured me it would not be a problem. Upon arrival, the restaurant was busy but we were seated promptly. When we placed our orders, they inquired about the food allergy and reassured us that the chosen dish was safe. My son requested to omit coleslaw and mayonnaise from his burger and was offered alternative options, eventually settling on baked beans. The staff was attentive and we all enjoyed a delicious meal. I couldn't find any faults and will definitely be returning soon!

On the A140 with plenty of parking spaces it is surprisingly quiet inside considering the amount of traffic passing by the windows.We stopped one Sunday for breakfast and the standard of service ,food quality and comfortable chairs were very high. The breakfast is a buffet style along with a variety of cooked dishes with the toast and coffee being served at the table. It's not open plan but various areas creating a more intimate experience. The staff are well trained , helpful and appear to like working there. I booked via the White Horse’s website and within the day I had a personal booking confirmation email.We got there, shown to our table with menus by a professional young gentleman, who immediately took our drinks order. Drinks arrived swiftly.We ordered the ‘King Burger’ and the Chicken and Bacon Burger, we also ordered a side of onion rings.Our food came swiftly. It was very fresh, hot, tasty. Infact, the King Burger is amazing, proper home made chips, huge onion rings and coleslaw. It was seriously tasty.For our dessert we each had the Captain Morgan’s Spiced Rum and Raisin ice cream, again it was gorgeous.You cannot fault anything, from the email response right up to us leaving.
