"We had mushrooms to start with the sourdough bread , mine was really nice , my husbands on the other hand was really salty. And when he said to taste I did and he wasn't lying , tasted completely different to mine. I then had the lasagne with salad and garlic bread, that's was all lovely.. My husband had the signiture burger with fries , and he said that was really nice too. We had some halloumi fries on the side. They was standard but the jam that it come with was lovely.. We then shared a Eton mess pudding , that was also lovely. But a bit overpriced for a pudding in my eyes at £8.50. Drinks wise , I had a coffee which was okay nothing amazing . And my husband had a coke which was normal . The server we had was a young girl with blonde hair , unsure of her name. She was lovely and polite. And made us feel welcome. Well done!!!!! All in all we had a lovely meal. Would dine again."

Unfortunately our main course was cold (we had sirloin steaks) the chips were hotter than the steak the peppercorn sauce was also served at room temperature! Overpriced disappointing.

beautiful country style pub with a large menu with open feeling, but small alcoves for tables, it is an older building. Mainly eating the sun and enjoy eating. easily pampered by a tvl with a football game in one of the alcoves

I had a great experience at this restaurant with excellent service and delicious food. I would definitely return without hesitation. The value for money is also great. I have been here multiple times over the years and have always had a positive experience.

As always, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We were warmly welcomed by Chris who, despite being busy, ensured that our dining experience went smoothly. The food was delicious and the atmosphere felt warm and friendly. We will definitely be visiting again in the near future.

There were a few minor issues with the restaurant, as only the disabled toilet was working and there was no tomato sauce available for some reason. However, the overall experience was really good, with tasty and reasonably priced food, as well as a very helpful and attentive waitress.

I had the turkey lunch at this restaurant. The turkey was okay, but the parsnips, sprouts, and carrots were terrible. It seemed like they had been cooked the day before. The food was extremely overpriced for the quality. I will not be returning to this restaurant. The chef could use some training on how to cook.
