Never again, used to go every week, A person called Martin spoiled the experience, he should be sacked , now i eat elsewhere. a dark pub, if you have any eye problems,

we had a nice lunch and a few drinks. nice eating and pretty good worth. the service was good and friendly. it was a cold day and when we left, we noticed the room and the bar. nice fire and comfortable chairs!

Lovely place to stay in the town centre. The food is fabulous and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. Parking is good too. We were on the top floor and it was quite a hike but even my husband managed it with his bad knee.

We had a table booked and just about managed to navigate our buggy with a sleeping baby through the restaurant. Our server was very nice, and the food was tasty we had lamb roasts and steak and ale pie. The salted caramel profiteroles for...

Great pub with superb Timothy Taylor's ales range. Cosy rooms and an excellent covered beer garden with heating. Food is excellent and even caters for gluten free people. Has a large.function room to hire as well. I believe you can stay here but I can't comment on this.

I just let myself in for a quick pint with my 3 dogs, while woman and mother-in-law shop. he received a very warm greeting and was told to the dogs that they were welcome everywhere in the pub. then the renter offered many very nice tasty for the dogs. what a nice note. 5 stars for the beer, tasty and very, very warm hospitality. fantastic location.

Second stay here, lovely pub and restaurant. Our room was modern and well equipped, very clean with a beautiful bathroom. Great central location with a free car park, which is a massive bonus. The staff were all very professional and friendly. Big shout out to (I think) Freddie, who looked after us at breakfast. Very polite and helpful young man who is a credit to both himself and his employer. Excellent all round, thank you.

we visited for the first time today. a nice warm welcome, friendly attentive team and excellent eating. between us we had the belly pork roast dinner, banger-mash (which I added a super yorkshire pudding), billionaire cheesecake and salted caramel tea. nothing but good things to say about everything. timmy taylor rental dark on cask was also the perfect pint. dog-friendly and excellent. we are coming back to the final. the booking has recommended us, it is a busy pub and right.
