Why do score on the doors give one star rating and on the restaurant window they display 5 stars? This surely is not acceptable

Great food. Quick service. Couple of the waiters a bit clueless but didn’t spoil. Good value for money. Lamb shank in particular was very nice

This restaurant is incredibly accommodating and understanding towards my deaf friend. The Sunday roast was fantastic and the prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend this place. Speisekarte ansehen

The pub is charming, however, the female manager is rude and dismissive. She treats all customers poorly and has a bad reputation in Highgate. She lacks basic manners and shows disrespect towards others.

I had a wonderful Sunday at the pub the roast was 10/10, it must be the new chef they have. The menu has a lot of choice, the pub has a lovely chilled atmosphere. I will be making regular visits to this pub now .

Roast dinners until 8pm and to a consistently high standard. Only place in area with a late roast. Staff friendly, welcoming and efficient. No pressure to drink up unlike some pubs in the area. Left over roasties and Yorkies are a winner, great pub Speisekarte ansehen

Came up to London to visit my pals and I fell in love with this pub and its food. I had the beef, and the desserts were beautifully done. The only downfall is although the meat was cooked perfectly, it wasn't quite salty enough. Gordon Ramsey would have had a fit!

The real ale was good, the sausage roll was good (albeit a bit pricey), the service was good, and we were able to sit outside, though I think we were lucky as it was quite busy. I don't live in the area, so I can't visit often, but I'll be keeping this place in mind for the future. Hopefully by then I'll be able to stand at the bar.

This pub is absolutely fantastic! The website claims they are dedicated to providing an authentic pub experience, and they definitely deliver on that promise. It's a charming, traditional English pub with a stunning interior and a cozy fireplace. The staff are friendly, the beers are well-maintained, and the food is delicious. I highly recommend paying a visit. We decided to go for Sunday lunch and I suggest making a reservation as it can get quite busy. Speisekarte ansehen
