"The small entrance door belie a much larger and welcoming interior. You can sit by a window or down in the vaulted basement which we quite liked. The Brunch menu caters for most tastes and is good value. Service is friendly and pleasant but could be a bit stretched if the restaurant was running at capacity. It has a bit of an Ivy feel about it but more accessible and affordable. Its worth seeing what the daily specials are as we`ve ended up ordering this rather than the set brunch menu. Lunch and dinner menus looked good value. Great for a birthday or Christmas outing. All in all an enjoyable way to spend some time taking the ambience in. A worthy addition to the Cowbridge food scene."

"Delicious Sunday lunch today! We were fit in at last minute (with a baby and a dog) and had probably the tastiest Sunday lunch for a long time- worth the price for sure. Soft drinks were a little overpriced but the service, environment and food were 10/10 and we’ll 100% be back!! Parking: Close to a large car park that was free because it was a Sunday! Kid-friendliness: Brilliant access for our pram. Staff were lovely about him too. Also, my fur baby was well cared for, given water and a little stroke! "I found the pumpkin picking experience to be disappointing compared to other places I've visited. It costs £18.50 for two cars just to enter and explore, and on top of that, you have to pay separately for the pumpkins. Although we came equipped with wellies and waterproof gear, the ground was extremely muddy. The play area was particularly bad; it was so muddy that the little ones were struggling to walk and kept getting stuck and falling over. It’s honestly not worth the hassle of cleaning the pushchair and car afterward. The play area itself was quite underwhelming as well. Overall, there are definitely better pumpkin patches out there for the price."

"A great experience which started with the booking service, so easy!! On arrival our party of five were shown to our table by the excellent Zoe. We were given time and space to plan our order and Zoe was very accommodating when some our group decided to try and have three main courses. We all had so much fun and a great evening was had by all. The food was amazing and the portions were generous, so much so that we couldn’t manage the three courses. We were grateful to Blair for leaving the kitchen to enable us to thank him and his staff, especially Zoe, for making our visit so pleasant. We’ll be back!! "Sorry, not a great experience. Were went along to support a new local business but some organising is needed.... We ate in the bar. Pretty setting with real fire. Nobody really seemed to know what they were doing. Bear in mind there were only 4 other people in the bar when we arrived..... Whilst I was ordering our food a waiter brought some bread and crackling to the table. Rest of group thought it was 'on the house ' and tucked in, as I was only just ordering about 2m away. After a couple of minutes someone else came out and said it was another tables food.... After waiting 20 mins for our drinks and food (didn 't mind too much) we were approached to ask if we had ordered. Uh, yes.. and paid.... oh, sorry, 'could you retell me what you ordered '. It hadn 't been ordered, so we waited again for our drinks and food.... We had small plates. What a very odd mix of choices, some like tapas, others half meals, none really went together...and why serve delicious fresh bread with curry butter. At least give a choice. The curry butter was nice, but real butter would have been much nicer on lovely bread. Also reluctant to give us the bread as the rest of my party had already eaten the one accidentally given to us...about 30 minutes before the rest of our food."
