"What a little gem! Coffee is divine and the food was amazing. I ordered a prawn sandwich and it was fully loaded with prawns. No skimping or being short changed here. Lovely to hear local Italian people meeting up and chatting always a good sign of an authentic eatery. There is outside seating and I could have happily sat all day with a coffee a magazine soaking up the atmosphere. I came back today (Sunday) to take some photos but sadly was closed. Please open up on a Sunday! Will come back again soon."

Only been once, killing time for an afternoon. Was pleasantly surprised two delicious cappuccino's for £3.80. Excellent.

This cafe is excellent. The service from the lovely ladies is top-notch. The food is good value for money, and the coffee is delicious and reasonably priced. There is the option to sit either outside or inside. We paid less than £10 for three teas and one coffee.

"Amazing pub! The staff are very accommodating, the food is delicious, and the decor is fantastic. I give it a perfect 5/5 rating! On both of my recent visits, they went above and beyond to meet our special needs, such as providing a table suitable for a wheelchair user and seating us in a dog-friendly area. The staff were friendly, kind, and helpful throughout. They even gave our little dog some treats (he also gives it a 5/5)! And let's not forget about the delicious Sunday roast. Overall, I highly recommend this place!"

"I 've been going here since it opened. It is still very nice but the prices have got to a daft level. Anyway, the good stuff the marquee structure erected in covid times is now a semi permanent affair which has been enclosed it is lovely. The staff are all well trained and provide great service. There were four of us having just a simple 2 course lunch. Bread and dipping oils were served fabulous bread. Starters Mrs had a superb mushroom soup, I had 'duck pressing ' a bit dry and not enough quince, Eggs Royale £21! and something else. Mains 2 fillet steaks £52 each , some cheese dish apparently yummy and I had a burger £28! . A couple of bottles of sauvignon blanc. No puddings. Bill with a 10% discount was over £350. Nuts. We had a nice time, but The Barn prices are beyond what it is worth. That said, we are local, so of course we 'll go again!"

"Last weekend, I visited this restaurant with my family and I cannot express enough how impressed I was with the restaurant and the staff. The waiters were friendly and accommodating throughout our visit. As someone with severe allergies, I was grateful for the care they took in adapting my dish from the menu to ensure it was safe for me to eat. They also went above and beyond in providing excellent service to the child in our group. If I lived closer, I would definitely make this restaurant a regular dining spot."

"The service and wecome was warm and pleasant.. The ambience and open fire qas welcoming. The cocktail was nice. The starters were good. The mains were really disappointing. The chateaubriand was poor@ we have had better from Cote at home. The veg was dire, lettice with a butter topping the chips were no better than Mccain. Despite feedback the full bill was paid inc a service charge of £47 for 3 people. I will not be going back. Overpriced. Local pubs have the same seevice and much better food. London House was 10 times better. Very disappointed"

"Our 3rd time there in 2yrs. It never fails to please. Warm, relaxed, unhurried atmosphere. Good sandwiches, including made to order if you ask. Lovely cakes. Light as a feather scones. Great selection of teas and (of course) coffee if you prefer. Stunning surroundings. A bit pricey but for a special treat it is worth every penny. Will return."
