"This was our first visit to the Grosvenor Arms but it won't be our last. We arrived earlier than expected for our table so we took ourselves off to the Hotel bar. Wow, that was really great! Drinks menu brought to us and ordered drinks followed. We just sat there and it was all brought to us. When we went to the restaurant we were attended to most diligently by the staff. They were professional, helpful and efficient. The food offering was different from the norm I had mushroom and celeriac pie and tasty and the wine was delicious! My husband had the menu deal which included a glass of house wine, whilst my friend and I chose from the A La Carte. After finishing our meal we took ourselves back to the hotel bar and had another round of drinks which lasted us till closing time. All in all a delightful and enjoyable experience which we will repeat next time we are in the neighbourhood. We might even stay at the hotel rather than our usual hostelry,"

It was a case of finding somewhere that could fit a group before Christmas, but the food was very bland, and the bill so high considering. The service was good, and I reckon we added to the noise, but yes it just felt a bit 'meh '

had a nice lunch with my friends. we all ordered the same what fish and chips and enjoyed it. great portion size and it tasted good. the personal was very courteous, friendly and warm. the decor was beautiful. I recommend the clermon restaurant and the bar and what was great was that it was just around the corner from the victoria rail station.

it was by seeing the website that I had this restaurant (the grosvenor arms) but the first impression was nothing less than what we had expected. the service was very poor that they had run out of all the designs of beer lagers! we ordered what we thought was the best option (sausage maische, burger die fischchips) not our group ended each of the foods so that we paid and leave early. deeply disappointed
