had a nice start tonight with friends and stayed until 9 o'clock. our server was excellent and we had beautiful weeping and liars

On this visit I was slightly disappointed. The dumplings in a gravy were terrible. As dry as cardboard inside. The meat was very thin, Paper thin. It could be a little bit thicker sliced.

We always love going here, because our waitress is always very helpful. We have great fun in a lovely atmosphere, and the food is out of this world. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. Speisekarte ansehen

we have used the toby at many locations and the standard will be maintained at any time. where we sat, was ideally a quiet corner near the carvery. all in all, an excellent visit in a congenial environment. long can go on! we'll see you next week!

This is the second visit within a few weeks. I thought I would give it another try after the lacklustre previous attendance. Apart from the staff I was so disappointed. The meat portions would not feed my cat. Very poor. Overall the veg was so so. I will be giving the Toby Carvery (Edinburgh) a miss. for a while.

Served by a lovely lady called Amie. She never stopped all night, she worked so hard making sure customers were ok. The chefs were lovely too. It was so hot and they started off really tall and ended up about 4 foot by the end of the night. (Private joke-the chefs will get it). Great food and the mojito was refreshing. Speisekarte ansehen

as always was eating in great style well oldho' (for a change) I took the roast beef instead of ham. it was hard, very chewing and had to push it aside. will make sure that I don't take it again unless it looks well cooked, because I always enjoy what is not a offer. türkei ham for me! service as always excellent, friendly polite. iain dunn

Decided to have carvery, definitely a mistake! Most of the vegetables were dried out. Roast potatoes were hard and inedible. Yorkshire pudding was hard. Only the turkey and ham were edible. Member of staff on carvery was not particularly helpful. Could barely make out was he was saying. The other staff serving at the table were very helpful.

we set up half an hour before our booking period (in not very nice wise) they were closed for a private function. we explained we had made a booking, then to say that we had not, as they had all called, who had. I'm still waiting for the call. We made the booking on the same day, so maybe a communication mistake for the rude girl on the door of the ground is that we're not back. Speisekarte ansehen
