"I planned my trip to dartmoor to visit this pub. I went years ago and thought it was great. I waited with my dog and partner in the car for it to reopen at 6. Went in and was welcomed, they gave the dog some water. They took drinks orders. Soon after the lady owner started shouting at me saying to keep my dog in one area. He was on a lead so i said where would to like him to go? She continued shouting and saying she had people over for dinner and the dog is making the floor dirty. He is a medium sized cockerpoo and the floor is dark stone so we were confused as to why the dog wasn't welcome. She said we can go if we want which made us feel like we ought to. She continued shouting about the trouble we caused for making the floor dirty and wasting our drinks. We didn't say anything back to her yelling and she gave us no choice but to leave. I checked ahead and they say dogs are welcome. It was all a but bizarre and very disappointing."

"Came for dinner for two on Friday night, the booking process on the phone was very simple with a very helpful member of staff. We were greeted and shown to our very nice table, the restaurant is very well decorated with a lovely relaxing atmosphere too. We had the calzone, the hake special with seasonal veg, whitebait and fries to share, some wine, and a tiramisu for dessert. The food was fantastic and we were very happy with the prices too, for the portion and quality. I had a very well made espresso martini, again at a very reasonable price point. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit! We will definitely be calling in again! Would recommend to anyone"

"Excellent Customer Service and all the staff are lovely here this is my new favourite coffee shop been coming now and again since my son was a baby, nothing is to much trouble here , I came here yesterday after the gym for vegan breakfast, Beth was lovely and attentive waitress and very funny she had me in stitches , I ordered a take away by uber eats last Friday to work it was amazing and nice and warm will be ordering more often to work save me walking and my break will be over by the time I walk and come back haha ,"

"The food at this restaurant was delicious, but unfortunately the service was extremely lacking. The owner was rude and unhelpful, and we encountered numerous issues trying to order through the app. Despite spending over £200, we did not receive a single apology or thank you from him. Although we were given a complimentary round of shots due to our frustration, I would have preferred better customer service. I recommend ordering for delivery rather than dining in person."

"Schönes Cafe direkt am Strand. Hier ist Selbstbedienung: Man stellt sich an und bestellt. Anschließend werden vorallem die warmen Snacks zum Tisch gebracht.Wir haben die Special Offer (Baguette und Kaffee) für 5 Pounds bestellt und waren sehr zufrieden. Alles war lecker und frisch. Das Personal war auch sehr hilfsbereit und aufmerksam."
