"We were looking for somewhere to enjoy a last Continental meal before boarding the Shuttle back to Blighty. The restaurant has many reminders of England and gives a splendid view of the ferries entering and leaving Calais' busy harbour but the cuisine is, thank goodness, gloriously French! Arriving just before its 6:30pm opening time we had our pick of tables but it filled up and by the time we left there were [people waiting for a seat, always a good sign. Hearty portions of well prepared food served with panache made the thought of the long dark channel tunnel much more bearable."

"Nous avons passé une excellente soirée dans ce restaurant. La vue est vraiment incroyable ! Surtout, si vous réservez, demandez bien une table près de la baie vitrée.Le personnel est adorable et très serviable. Le plateau de fruits de mer est excellent, et les beurres servis avec également.J'ai un peu moins accroché avec mon plat de poisson, au niveau des gouts, rien ne m'a particulièrement marqué. Mais la cuisson du poisson (saumon) était très bonne.Petit détail qui a son importance : la musique était juste comme il fallait, ni trop forte ni pas assez, et il s'agissait d'un album de reprises de chansons pop en jazz, et c'était très agréable !Un détail cependant que nous avons pas apprécié : donner la carte sans les tarifs à la femme est tout de même vraiment vieux jeu et sexiste ! En tout cas, pour des jeunes comme nous, il faut peut-être éviter ! :)"
