"I absolutely loved the decor, especially the stunning stone walls that really caught our eye. The atmosphere was so relaxing. After a show at the castle, we decided to stop by and were greeted with such friendly service. The pizzas were amazing, and they even offered gluten-free options, which were perfect for our friends. These are authentic Italian pizzas created by an award-winning chef, with a wide variety of flavors to choose from. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are generous. We will definitely be returning! Food: 5/5"

I think the best pizza in the area!! Sadly, I took it away as no one inside, for some reason. It was around 8 pm. However, the place looks nice and they have a real oven with wood fire!! Food: 5 Service: 5

Definitely one of, if not the best pizza I’ve had. Food came relatively quickly and all staff we came in contact with were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Very nice place to be as well. Pricing is very good considering the quality £80 for a meal with drinks for 5 people is quite average nowadays and the quality is way above average so happy with the cost. Would 100% recommend to anyone living in or visiting the area! Vegetarian options: Variety on the menu including vegetarian and vegan options. Kid friendliness: Decent kids menu.

"Another fabulous culinary experience! Came here today with my family and 2 small well behaved dogs. Lovely warm welcome, staff are friendly and efficient without being pressing. We came for Sunday lunch, the rest of my party had lamb, beef or chicken with a very generous bowl of green beans, carrots and swede and another of cauliflower cheese. They do offer a coeliac friendly Sunday lunch, however, I love fish so opted for their cod loin and caper, new potatoes and green beans alternative. We couldn't have been happier. Meats were melt in the mouth, fish was so well cooked. We had some beautiful deserts, cheese cakes, the apple crumble, and cherry frangipani (GF) So much choice for all. Our dogs weren't left out either as the staff were very dog friendly and the management team brought out little cuts of meat as treats for them. Everyone is made to feel valued here. Love it! Haven't found anywhere better down here for a roast!"

"Fourth visit, once during the summer, the last 3 for Mrs E's birthday. It never disappoints. The accommodation is clean cosy, and the food is always top-notch. Hearty, quality stuff with a really deft touch : testament to a wonderful chef. And the welcome is always friendly. A special mention to Ethan who is the epitome of hospitality : gracious, smiling and always on hand with a welcome recommendation. And such wonderful scenery on hand. What are you waiting for?"

"I visited Pembroke near Leicester and asked a local which pub had the best food. He recommended The Waterman, and he was spot on! Initially, I thought we were waiting a bit long, but it turned out to be due to a large birthday party and the fact that my meal was being prepared from scratch—it wasn't just microwaved! The food was delicious and a generous portion, perfect for my hearty appetite. I had the aubergine parmigiana served with garlic potatoes in cream. Excellent food and service overall. "Last week, we dined with a group of eight, and we were thoroughly impressed. The menu is incredibly diverse, featuring a variety of unique dishes that immediately piqued our interest. It also highlights many local seafood and meat options. Three of us tried the mackerel ravioli, which we had never seen before, and it was both delicious and distinctive. We must also give special mention to the lobster risotto; we expected just a small amount of lobster mixed in, but to our surprise, the dish arrived with a whole lobster on top! Alongside that, we enjoyed plenty of mushrooms and calamari as well. Alumchine could very well be the best place to eat in Pembrokeshire. The food is fantastic, the portions are generous, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The quality of the food offered is exceptional for the price. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!"

"Popped in for breakfast after walking the dogs at Freshwater East. The staff were pleasant enough although it felt as though requesting a breakfast was an imposition. Had a latte and a cappuccino, and to be honest we couldn't tell the difference (both appeared to be cappuccino) except they came in different shape cups and the proported cappuccino was dusted with chocolate. The breakfast was okay but but sausages were dry and overcooked and the toast had an odd tasting spread rather than butter. The round of toast with honey arrived, minus honey! Okay as a cafe but doesn't represent value for money."
