I’m a regular here, is very close to work, food is very good and the ladies are very attentive. Great service! I have to try not to go so often or my waistline would double! If you go on a Friday enjoy the freebie hash...brown, which’s a very nice touch. Keep up the good work guys.

Wanted some lunch before hospital appointment so thought to try here. Great idea, where to start, staff really very helpful and kind, sat outside so they brought the food outside for me. All staff keen and friendly, quite busy, lots having take aways though. would...definitely come back again. Lots of choice I had a smoked salmon toasted bagel with cream cheese, absolutely delicious.

Four times over several weeks I ordered a jacket potato with baked beans... where were the beans? I literally got one table spoon of baked beans and I think for the extravagant price I paid the portions are small and that doesn’t just apply to...beans! Big prices, small portions and ok food.. this place used to be the best place for lunch in Halifax and it’s gone down hill seems they only care about the profit these days, it’s a shame really

First class service from someone who is an obvious natural at her job... I think her name was Nicola. I'm a business coach and it baffles me how many people involved in retail just do not engage in the correct way with their customers. It's...the customers that pay your wages at the end of the day. Fantastic service and a fantastic sandwich from a very popular shop near the Victoria theatre in Halifax. Thanks again Nicola a textbook example of great customer service.... Have you ever thought about training others how to do it?

Visited here with my mum on a short trip to Halifax. When we arrived and realised there was no indoor seating we almost turned away- but so glad we didn’t! There is so much variety; salads, potatoes, sandwiches, tortillas, paninis etc, all at really reasonable...prices! There were also a variety of toppings from the usual to Swedish meatballs, roasted veg and chicken curry. The staff were so lovely and very smiley which created a nice atmosphere. We ate on the tables outside however the potatoes warmed us enough to feel comfortable in November. would love to return and recommend to anyone.

I visit this place regularly when in Halifax. As others have said they always have a fabulous selection. As well as the usual selection of sandwiches and jacket potatoes it has a salad bar, home made quiches, variety of home made warm foods such as...curry, chilli or meatballs. My personal favourites are the home made soups. Even though its popular and busy you never feel like you have to wait long. The staff and service is always friendly and delivered with a smile. If you go in at certain times of year when things are happening, such as Halloween, children in need, Christmas or Easter you will usually find special goodies and decorations to celebrate. We saw this place that looked inviting for lunch today.It wasn’t part of a chain. We were served promptly by a very friendly woman. The choice of food for lunch was comprehensive and all looked freshly made. I chose a panini with spinach and feta...which was delicious.My wife had the Mediterranean veg panini and hers was delicious too. The home made cakes on display looked very tempting so we had a slice of cake each with a coffee.The cake was excellent,tasty but not too sweet and the coffee was spot on. Visited here for lunch today with my daughter after looking on trip advisor before attending an appointment. We weren't disappointed we both had jacket potatoes; I had roasted vegetables and feta, my daughter had chicken curry. They were nice and hot and the potatoes...were cooked to perfection. We could have chosen lots from the menu as the baguettes, panninis and hot rolls sounded delicious. They had a variety of cakes and the cupcakes looked amazing but when you've got a little black dress to get into in weeks..... The staff were very bubbly and friendly and we will definitely go back again. There are tables outside which are probably lovely in the warmer weather, but we braved them today...

Found this little gem on a recent shopping trip will go again. Covid regulations in place and felt so safe ordering, the ladies on the counter were so welcoming and warm and I felt like I’d known them years! They explained how to...use the (amazing) looking fresh self serve salad bar showed me round the menus. There is literally anything for anyone here! All fresh made to order, even a cake counter. I went for a messy Mexicana which was thick cut perfectly cooked chips with lots of chilli loaded on top with cheese and some sour cream etc. So good for the money I had a smoothie too. Staying local has always been so important to me but even more so given the circumstances! We need to keep thes...
