"Very average fare. Wanted a nice meal in a nice setting without getting ripped off near the duomo. We decided on Al Cantinone and it was fine. We had the largest ever stuffed zucchini leaves followed by the cheese platter. The bread was a bit less than fresh, but otherwise the cheese was nice with our half bottle of wine. By the time we ate our appetizers we decide to share the Osso Bucco with risotto. That was a good call, as it was a lot of good. Both main dishes were average, not very hot and nothing to come back for. Staff was busy but nice. A bit pricey at €85 but a nice setting w real linens, etc."

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo! Filetto al Cantinone perfetto! Mia figlia di 5 anni lo ha quasi finito tutto da sola!

Really good restaurant. Tasty food, carefully presented. The wine was also beautifully served. The desserts were to die for! I recommend the crostata di ricotta

I absolutely adored this spot! I snagged a table outside on a gorgeous, sunny day. The cuisine is top-notch, and the staff is incredibly courteous and amiable. If you happen to be checking out the Duomo, you simply must swing by for a refreshing beverage and some eats. Speisekarte ansehen

The food at this restaurant is decent and filling, but it's not the best you'll find in Italy. For appetizers, the cheeses in the bruschetta were delicious, but the other components were quite disappointing in terms of taste. The mains, ravioli, and ossobuco were okay, but they lacked flavor and texture. Considering the price, it's not really worth it, and I would suggest trying another restaurant instead.

In terms of flavor, I found the food to be underseasoned. While the risotto with salmon was satisfactory, the risotto Milanese and osso buco lacked the necessary seasoning to truly shine. On a positive note, the osso buco meat was exceptionally tender, and the assortment of vegetables provided a delightful accompaniment. Situated in a highly convenient central location, the restaurant boasts accessibility. Despite these positives, I personally felt that the overall experience didn't justify the cost, leading me to decide against revisiting in the future.

"Visited months ago The label of a vegetarian restaurant absolutely does not correspond to what Joia represents in the Italian gastronomic panorama. We are talking about the maximum expression of haute cuisine, overwhelming ideas, bold and unexpected combinations, exceptional raw materials, all served in an exclusive environment suitable for providing customers with a fantastic experience. Chef Leemann showed up in person to take the order and give his suggestions on the sequence of dishes. The service staff has always proven to be very prepared to answer all our questions or curiosities about the dish itself and this knowledge was not only the heritage of the waiter who brought the dish to our table and described it to us, but of all the staff who, even randomly, we stopped to ask for further explanation! The wine list was excellent from which we chose a Barbera d 'Alba by Bartolo Mascarello. But let 's get to the food. As entrees... and calling them entrees is definitely limiting! We were offered 2 wonderful tastings which unfortunately I cannot remember in their composition, but the first was a cream with carrot and rhubarb served in a mini terracotta vase, while the second appeared like a palette of colors where some fantastic raw materials sauces could be combined manually. My lunch then began with the Cantiam la montanara where, under a soft celery foam, there was a composition of green asparagus, spring onion and truffle on chopped borlotti beans. Fantastic dish, sublime with exceptional aromas!. I then continued with The navel of the world , a wonderfully plated dish where two types of rice are used, one as a base made with asparagus and watercress, and in the center a Venere rice cake finished on top with saffron almond cream . Finally I closed the lunch with a selection of 8 cheeses, some of which were truly exceptional, accompanied by jams/honey. Obviously the bill is in line with the proposal and with the experience. I must say that it was truly a pleasure and an honor."
