The staff here are amazing, so friendly and helpful. The food is yummy full of flavour. The place has a really warm feel to it, we all had a wonderful evening

Great traditional pub with absolutely lovely staff. Food was incredible and definitely get what you pay for biggest chicken burger I’ve ever had. Garden also very cute.

Great to able to choose a smaller serving. I had roast beef which was OK but not the best beef, vegetables were very tasty. Service to a group of 7 people was slow and waiter showed no urgency. Speisekarte ansehen

The food is always really tasty, great value for money and the staff are friendly and accommodating. It's a cosy pub restaurant. For some dishes you can order a smaller adult version which is perfect if you want a desert afterwards!!

The breakfast was outstanding, and you could really taste the high quality of the food. This was our second visit after enjoying a similarly high-quality lunch. Great job—you’re officially on our list of places to return to. Thank you!

This is a fantastic local pub that offers excellent food and a nice variety of beers and lagers. The outdoor seating is thoughtfully arranged, providing a lovely view of Dartmoor. If you find yourself in the Newton Abbot or Totnes area, it's definitely worth a visit! Speisekarte ansehen

Very nice pub, friendly staff and locals, good service and we all enjoyed our food. My only gripe is a menu which offers the dishes a choice of sizes. Not having any idea what the portion sizes actually are I didn’t know which size to order, I opted for the bigger portion, which was much appreciate by our dog as we took lots of pie meat home for her!

I was quite disappointed with most of the food. The portions were really small and the quality was just average. The roast was not satisfying at all. However, the waiting staff provided very friendly service. The pub has a lovely interior, but the food was incredibly disappointing, especially considering the price and all the positive reviews. I expected much better.

Our first visit. And it WON 'T be the last Thank you Tina, although the pub was almost fully booked you gave us a warm welcome and fitted us in.the homemade steak pie was full of tasty tender meat and VERY nice. I had the smaller serving of liver and bacon how great to have that option and that too was superb . Didn 't have room for a dessert, but couldn 't resist the salted caramel profiteroles, so Tina happily supplied us with a doggy bag. Oh how nomnomnom they were.
