Didn't eat,just in for a drink,nice atmosphere old and cosy Very good range of draught drinks and the cider is good.dog friendly so there's treats.

Really friendly and welcoming pub. Food is freshly prepared and homemade . Been twice and both times had specials which tasted amazing. The staff are all really friendly and provide an excellent service. Love the decor and feel of the place. It can get busy so worth booking. Can't recommend this place enough

Family gathering here again superb food love the chips) served with good hot meals even though there was a lot of us if a big party I recommend email an idea of foods and requirements before so chefs have an idea) staff looked after us all well hopefully be back in 18 months for the next milestone birthday party

This is the 2nd visit for my husband and I. We came here to celebrate my husbands 60th, we are from coventry but staying for 2 wks. There are not enough stars for this pub. The food, especially the lasagna and the beef and ale pie are exceptional. The staff are fabulous, very, very friendly, the service is excellent

Myself and my husband visited here on a weekday evening in June.We decided to treat ourselves on our last night of our camper holiday and we were not disappointed. Only being on the site a short minute walk away, we could not visit. Friendly welcoming staff, cosy atmosphere. Traditional pub food on the menu, all averagely priced for an independent pub. Food was of excellent quality and piping hot. Had to share a pudding as the main portion sizes were do generous. I wish we knew how good this was at the start of our holiday otherwise we wouldn't have had a BBQ on all the other nights. Highly recommend and we'll be returning on our next holiday to the area.

We were staying on a nearby campsite and decided to walk to the Two Mile Oak for lunch. It is a large pub on the Newton Abbott to Totnes Road. There is a large car park at the rear of the pub.On entering we had an amazing welcome from the team at at the Two Mile Oak, first impressions are so important and from the get-go this was great. We hadn't booked but were shown to a free table.Menu is great and varied, from smaller lunch options to full menu, there is also specials board. It is table service still and in these COVID times you have to mention how these places are running, all staff wore face masks, there was hand sanitiser everywhere and so we felt they had done everything possible to...
