"telephone last minute and we could be pressed in at 545. the restaurant was quiet while we were there, so not sure why we “squished into” great eating, but there was something missing from all the experience. the owner chef was not so friendly and seemed happy. the bill seemed a bit expensive £75 for 2 adults and 1 child 1 drink each. I'd go back next door. bank transfer only."

"I traveled from Anglesey for lunch, approximately 30 miles away. Upon arrival, we waited at our table for service, noticing everyone around us enjoying delicious food. When we asked for a menu, we were informed that the restaurant had stopped serving lunch, offering only drinks and cakes at 12:15. No explanation or apology was provided, which was disappointing. This was the third time we had attempted to dine at the cafe, and we have consistently encountered issues with availability. Friends have shared similar experiences, encountering closure or private events. If you plan to visit, it is advisable to call ahead. Ultimately, we decided to enjoy a delicious lunch at Oriel Glyn y Weddw in Llanbedrog instead. We may not return to Caffi Ni in the future."

"Five stars for this friendly, inviting pub with excellent food and great service. Visited here in December whilst on a family mini break. The weather was awful outside and the welcome was warm in the bar. We ate in the bar area because we had dogs, it was a great space and we were very comfortable. The food was excellent, every meal was outstanding the best on our trip. Can recommend the lamb, beef and fish. The vegan meal was also really good. The cheesecake was spot on and the apple crumble delicious. Cannot fault the quality, service, menu or price. The team were extremely friendly, nothing was too much trouble, we felt at home and would highly recommend booking a table if you are in the area. Plenty of parking but imagine this place gets busy in the summer. The views of the coast are stunning! We walked the dogs on the beach after lunch. Well done to the team, you exceeded our expectations! Thank you"

"We arrived with our family of nine around 6 PM and were thrilled to get a table right away, despite the place being packed. Linda (Helen's mom) had the mushroom and goat cheese risotto, accompanied by a generous piece of homemade garlic bread and a delightful salad, all for just £12.95. Max ordered the cod and salmon fishcakes with tender new carrots, creamy spinach, and fresh parsley sauce for £13.95. It must have been delicious, as he ended up sharing his chocolate brownie and sticky toffee pudding with the kids! The service was excellent, and the food was beautifully presented, well-cooked, and served in generous portions. We enjoyed some lovely chilled wine during our meal. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return. Next time, I want to try the bouillabaisse, duck in Grand Marnier sauce, and the pulled Welsh lamb tagine, not to mention the prawn pil and salt and pepper squid as starters. A big thank you to the staff and the chef for a delightful evening. We will be back!"

"I wouldn't know where to begin with this place and to be clear, I don't write bad reviews very often as I always want places to do well and thrive. However...however, this place was diabolical.The food was awful. Took an age to arrive despite us being the only ones in the cafe during high season at lunchtime, itself a slight giveaway. An evidently microwave-cooked baked potato (really? and a salad destroyed with masses of raw onion. I asked for water and received a glass of tap water...laughable. They only accept cash...sorry, but that is a bit of a giveaway too and the decor despite multiple publicised proclamations about various local awards was dreadful kitsch. There was shouting across the room in a Welsh dialogue which is OK as it is, after all, Wales, but shouting across your table as you push the awful food around your plate? We didnt finish and left, over £11 worse off for food not worth a third of that. Perhaps if the vinyl table covering wasn't sticky things might have been better."
