we always come to eat when we visit dunes. pizzateig is perfect. we love option half pizza half pasta. child menu available. room with beautiful atmosphere. very friendly staff.

I recently dined at this restaurant for dinner. The price per person ranged from £10 to £20. The food was decent, receiving a rating of 3 out of 5. The service was good, earning a 4 out of 5. The atmosphere was average, with a rating of 3 out of 5.

So the nephew says this is the best kebab in Dunbar. Apparently it's always a good portion, tastes great and isn't over priced. The restaurant's quality has declined since Umberto retired and Hector from Dunbar took over. It is disrespectful to still use Umberto's name and TripAdvisor score. The restaurant should be rebranded since there is different staff and only a fraction of the menu that Umberto used to offer. It is not surprising that the restaurant is consistently empty every night.

Popped in today for a light lunch. We had the breaded mushrooms and garlic sauce along with a portion of Bruschetta. Although the restaurant was busy, the service was great. The staff were very friendly as was the chef (owner? Robbie who came to check we were satisfied with the food, which we were. The bruschetta especially is a dish I would recommend. All in all a 5 star experience and we will definitely return the next time we visit Dunbar.

One of the most disappointing restaurants I’ve been to in a long time. Literally just 5 pasta dishes on the menu for main courses, that’s it, unless you count a selection of filled rolls. You have to reach over the head of fellow diners to refill your own soft drinks. There were three unaccompanied children in the window seats behind us, possibly the proprietors children, all playing video games and music at full volume on various mobile devices and shouting at each other. Food we ordered (spag bol)was average at best and I felt sorry for the two young girls who were the only waiting staff there, running around like headless chickens.
