"Our table was ready for the time of our booking. We had to look for a waitress to be taken to the table and ask if we could order some drinks. There was a really good selections of starters to choose from including pate, salad, houmous and soup. The sunday lunch was excellent including turkey and or pork, all the trimmings including pigs in blankets. There was a good selection of vegetables all cooked to perfection with also cauliflower cheese. The service was good but we had to get the attention of a waitress on several occasions as the plates had not got cleared away from our starters and also to be able to order another drink. For pudding there was a choice of 2 parfaits, it would may be have been better to have a choice between 2 different puddings such as a parfait and a brownie. The waitress was very good at helping us apply our membership discount to the bill. Overall the quality of the food was excellent, the service was very good when you got hold of a waitress and the value for money is good."

Lovely food, slow service after sat down for drinks and food ordering. It was busy due to Christmas parties waiting to go to their rooms. Created atmosphere but made it noisy for dining when having a family meal.

New improved menu for Sunday lunch, Options are good and still great value for money, better selection of desserts, staff were all nice, knowledgeable and service was great, if you don’t mind room being a bit noisy than would definitely recommend.

We all really enjoyed our starter and main meal but was disappointed with only 3choices for dessert, non of which were child friendly. The service was good as was the ambiance. We especially liked the space we had at the table, often a larger party get squashed in but we had plenty of room.

The Sunday lunch menu has been revamped with more options and remains a great value for money. The dessert selection has been improved, and the staff are all friendly and knowledgeable. The service was excellent, although the noise level in the restaurant may be a bit loud. Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
