Only had a drink here but a beautiful place to be in. Haven't checked menu hence 4 star but place really nice to have drinks.

I visited this restaurant on a Saturday afternoon and had a great experience. The bar and staff were fantastic. I ordered the special steak with chips and was very impressed by the quality and presentation.

After passing this place regularly for many years decided to try it with with a steak deal meal.My wife and I were not disappointed as the steak was delicious and the chips and salad were excellent.Will definitely go again.

Absolutely delightful place. Furnishings and décor are a sight to behold and the food was excellent with more than enough to eat on the plates. Definitely falls under the radar though because we were the only 6 people in there apart from one or two others having a drink. A real shame because it deserves so much more. Would go there again without hesitation, but we are mindful that parking could be an issue. Very small car park.

We used a groupon voucher for a steak dinner at this restaurant and were extremely pleased with the experience. The steak and sides were cooked perfectly and presented beautifully. The atmosphere and decor were lovely, and the service from Lisa and Louise was exceptional. The Diane sauce that came with the steak was unlike anything we had ever tasted before and was delicious, especially if you enjoy mustard flavors. It is clear that the staff is putting in a lot of effort to regain customers and improve the restaurant's reputation. We will definitely be returning in the future.

I booked this via the Groupon meal 2xsteaks wine for £20.00. A great deal! I phoned to book our meal reserving a table for six. We arrived at 17.30 with the first impression that this was 'the local ' pub , but was soon invited to sit at our table, The staff were lovely and friendly, though did give the impression they did not know what was on the menu! Regardless of this we felt very welcomed. The place was clean and the food was delicious! All six of us felt the same about first impressions , and could not find one thing wrong with the food. Generous portions, and a cake packed to take home! Thank you for a lovely evening

Went for Sunday lunch we ordered various meats, ie Turkey, beef and lamb. The food arrived on cold plates and all the vegetables on the 7 plates were practically cold! 2 sent them back and the rest just got on with it and ate them as it would have been chaos otherwise! One plate had practically no meat on it at all but they soon sent some more out when it was pointed out to the waitress! Very little staff and although the girl who waited on Table was very pleasant she didn’t seem to know what she was doing and didn’t ask us if everything was alright! We made a reservation for a table of 4 at this restaurant. When we arrived, the atmosphere was dark and empty, lacking any sort of ambiance. However, the decor and furnishings were quite impressive. Unfortunately, we were informed that the restaurant had no chef and therefore could not serve us the meal we had booked through groupon. We did not receive a notification about the cancellation. We booked a table for 4 on Sunday 13th October at 5pm. First impressions were good the decor and furniture were lovely and the restaurant was decorated throughout in fairy lights. We were told when we sat down that we could not have starters and there was only roast dinners on offer. We could however have dessert. We were asked if we wanted wine and had to ask for the wine list.
