Vis à Vis - Speisekarte

Wir warteten 25 Minuten, bis uns jemand fragte, was wir auf einem schmutzigen Tisch trinken möchten (wir mussten darum bitten, ihn zu reinigen). Der Kellner kannte die Weinnamen nicht. Aber nette Atmosphäre und guter Flammkuchen.

Not sure if restaurant is good, if it is empty on friday evening. We arived a bit before 9pm. For few minutes noone comes to meet us and finally some girls arives and informs us that they can serve one drink. If you do not want to work, just lock a door.

Located near the Paradeplatz, in the heart of the banking area of Zürich. I often choose the place for a coffee break to meet my colleagues. The restaurant has some nice table outside along Talstrasse, as well as a cozy interior with brown, leather sofas.

For a lunch, we had to wait till we got the menu and then it got late by the time we got are food, we had to ask for the check at the same time, it was over 1h. the restaurant was not pact but the staff still couldnt deal with a few tables outside. the food wasn't good, salad had no taste at all. the bistro is still good for a quick coffee.

Enjoyed a very special evening at this restaurant - fund-raising for Zurcher Lighthouse. The staff were super-friendly (in particular the very attentive and polite manager whose name I did not get, alas) and the food was excellent with very good service and no hurry afterwards to leave. I subsequently went there for lunch and it was wonderful.

Set menu is reasonable for location in city centerSalad was lettuce with some chanterelles mushrooms and 1/2 a cherry tomato - a bit bland. We had the yellow risotto with mostly octopus although waiter said mixed seafood. Not sure what else supposed to be in the risotto but was tasty nevertheless Dessert was one choice panacotta with some raspberry sauce. A bit small and not sweet.Still good value maybe if we try as other people suggest the roast beef Service was efficient

I knew the restaurant from lunches, but never went for dinner.As we have booked tickets for a concert nearby, We just walked in for a quick dinner.After 6 pm you may select their roastbeef from the trolley, a discretion for 39.- chf (currently). It is served with grilled vegetables, country fries and a selection of home made sauces.I knew the quality of their roast beef from lunch, so we did not hesitate.Even if we did not eat so much meat (only 3 small servings) it was an excellent deal for a restaurant in the center of the city.Excellent service and some piano music...We will come back for sure.

Ich war etwas vorsichtig mit dem All-you-can-eat-Angebot, da in Zürich normalerweise nichts umsonst ist. Allerdings war ich sehr positiv überrascht. Unser Kellner war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, die Atmosphäre und das Ambiente sorgten für einen entspannten Abend. Das Essen war köstlich, tolle Pommes und ja, es war wirklich alles, was man essen konnte!! Scheiben und Scheiben leckeren, saftigen Roastbeefs, serviert mit einer Auswahl verschiedener Saucen. Wir sind alle total satt und sehr zufrieden abgereist. Ich kann dieses Restaurant nicht nur Zürcher Besuchern, sondern auch allen Bewohnern der Stadt und Umgebung nur wärmstens empfehlen.

We reserved a table for a group of six on a Friday evening and were told about some live music that evening. This turned out to be a misunderstanding, since the restaurant was host to a vocal concert of a local Palliative Care center... The other (older) patrons attended explicitly to listen to the concert, while we intended to enjoy a lively dinner, including dinner conversation. We were 'shhhed' by the other patrons until another table was found for us in a segregated room. An unpleasant experience both for us and the other patrons.Once we settled in at our new table we had the avocado tuna tartar as a starter, which was nice but a bit bland. For the main course I had the roast beef a disc...
