"I had a uniquely delicious dining experience at the Saint Geran in Nice: it offers a cuisine that is from the island of Mauritius in the Indian Ocean. This includes French creole cuisine , Indian cuisine without the oiliness/heaviness that sometimes accompanies it, and French cooking. In essence a blend of some of the best cuisines in the world. Its menu is therefore varied but not overpowering. I went there twice. I recommend the fish dishes (I had a delicious Rougail Poissons i.e. Fish with tomato sauce), and the entrees /starters are wonderful. You must try the Gateaux Piments (the English translation "Chili and Vegetable cakes" does not do justice to the rich flavour and tastefulness of this wonderful starter. And for British and Europeans who like black pudding (Americans rarely do), the Saint Geran's Black Pudding with apple cider sauce is a treat. The ones I have eaten in Britain and Germany are mediocre by comparison. Based on the dishes I have eaten , I would venture to speculate that their other dishes are delicious as well.The service is attentive. This is not a richly decorated restaurant with fancy chairs and curtains: the focus is on the food and service. The atmosphere is low-key, with island music alternating with soft Indian music."

"The restaurant is hidden in a small street where there are not many passages. It is a family restaurant that combines Vietnamese and Japanese cuisine (ingenious). The decoration is very simple and unpretentious. The service is done by the owner's son. It is very welcoming and smiling. The kitchen is made by the boss and is delicious. sushi has nothing to envy to the great sushi brands (sushi shop, planet sushi etc). (Many times the word sushi in this sentence). other hot dishes are just as succulent. the icing on the cake is that the rates are more than affordable for the quality of the dishes. If you hesitate to go eat sushi or nems, go to this place and you can have the 2 huh!"

"This was the best meal we've had so far! The selection is small, but the quality is extremely high. We had the lamb as our main course. It was very tender and the combination with couscous with pomegranate seeds and olives was particularly delicious. For dessert, we had caramelised brioche with apple and ice cream. We were transported to heaven within a second. It was so utterly delicious! The service is extremely friendly and they were able to cater for allergies/intolerances with ease (Unfortunately, we had to realise that this is very rare in Nice. Most of them did not know what exactly was in their dishes. ."

"my wife and I celebrated our first anniversary for a pleasant dinner and reserved to eat here on the anniversary day. We had incredible food during our visit to the coast of the azur, but the star had the best of all! the menu was very unique and original, taking modern turns on classic flavors. on the photo, it's the best aperitif we've ever had the fatty liver burnt. We also enjoyed wonderful desserts and wines in this beautiful restaurant nestled in Villefranche. I highly recommend this restaurant to all those who are close or far from pleasant. We'll be back soon! (Notice of Origin) my wife and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary in good condition and made a reservation to eat here on the anniversary date. We had a wonderful meal during our visit to the French Riviera, but the beautiful star had the best food of all! the menu was very unique and original, taking modern turns on classic flavors. photo is the best aperitif we've ever had times of burnt fat. We also enjoyed wonderful desserts and wine in this beautiful restaurant in the cityfranche. highly recommend this restaurant to anyone close to or far from pleasant. We'll be back soon!"

"For the first time, we have been well received, the room is comfortable, the atmosphere is Zen, so we are well there.From the amuse-bouche, we smell the good products and the quality of the work; the formula from day to € 17.90 is interesting, sufficiently copier. The poached egg and the risotto with pork were very successful. A little disappointed by the dessert where there was too much whipped and little fruit for us. The wines of the white mistral, rosé, red, that we took in the glass were very good. A little long service, but it must only upset those who will work! Contrary to what I saw in the reviews, the value for money is well justified. We must recognize the quality and the work when we go to the restaurant."
