White House - Speisekarte

Had a lovely weekend in this hotel. It's very clean and comfortable, great location a min stroll into town. The food was lovely.staff very friendly and helpful we will definitely stay here again if we are in whitby.

Nice pub near Whitby front but away from the busy town, nice roomy pub, not too expensive with wood burning fire, dog friendly, they do food I believe let rooms out.. The staff a pleasant pub clean tidy.. Small car park but on street parking.. Will visit again next time in Whitby..

Lovely little Inn ,amazing views and very friendly stuff....the breakfast was really rich ...walking distance from all the worth visiting locations in Whitby (Abbey,whalebone arch etc and min walk from the center) only stayed for one night but definitely would recommend for a nice city break Speisekarte ansehen

The dishes were dirty on the bottom. The serving of fries was tiny. The fish was tasty, but the lasagna was just average. This was the worst meal we have ever had at this restaurant, and despite having eaten here multiple times before, we will not be returning. It seems like there may be new management and all new staff.

Visited for Sunday lunch yesterday. Both of us had the pork roast and throughly enjoyed it. Good selection of veg: carrots, green beans, red cabbage, broccoli and cauliflower cheese. Nice to have mash as well as roast potatoes. Deserts were great too: biscoff cheese cake and cookie dough with ice cream. Service was good and great value for money. Will visit again.

Really good food. Homemade and staff very friendly. I asked if I could have the salmon without sauce and perhaps salad instead of vegetables. I was pleasantly surprised as the chef had obviously put some effort in going over and above with the salad. My husband had the steak pie which was a quarter of a dinner plate size pie rather than these tray bakes you often get given. He was really impressed with quality. An edge of town location but within a pleasant minute stroll along the beach and paths to get in to Whitby. Views from our room were over the adjacent golf course looking out to sea. Service and food all as expected for a pub with rooms. Our room was quiet so had a relaxing couple of days. Would stay again. Note. Care required in shower. The hot water is very hot and the shower appears not to be thermostat controlled to prevent potential scalding.

On our previous visits the food has been wonderful, our last visit was shocking, went for evening meal with friends, my friend and I had mushroom stroganoff, it came and really we should had said something straight away, as it looked like a tomato sauce with peppers tomatoes and mushrooms in it, this was tasteless, the rice was not good either, we did say to the waitress it was not good, she said she would let the chef know, but we heard nothing back, complaint handled very badly, will not be visiting again!

I've been going to the White House Inn for a good few years now, I wouldn't stay anywhere else when I'm visiting Whitby. Planted in a great spot with some amazing views. It's always clean and tidy inside, you never hear a noise during the night so you can guarantee a proper night's sleep. The staff are always friendly and happy to help, the owners are also lovely people. The food is always amazing, the drinks are just as good. If your planning a trip to Whitby, don't hesitate in booking a stay with the White House Inn. I'd recommend this place to anyone. out of Speisekarte ansehen
