"I recently returned from a two-night stay at this establishment. It served its purpose while we were there for a friend's birthday, but there are a few points I would like to mention for those considering booking here. Despite being advertised as a bed and breakfast on booking sites, there was no breakfast provided. The room was small and average, making it difficult to move around the bed. The only café in the village was closed on Saturdays, leaving only the local Coop or a trip to Skegness for food in the morning. The table in the room was covered in old spilled coffee, and there were dust and cobwebs present. The clean sheets were a positive aspect. The clock in the square chimed loudly every hour, keeping us awake throughout both nights. We were not warned about this beforehand. The room was positioned above the bar entrance, resulting in significant noise from people leaving for smoke breaks past midnight. The fire door in the corridor was propped open, potentially by another guest or the owners. The prices of beer were expensive compared to a pub nearby with a better tap selection. On the plus side, the pub offered affordable and generous portions of food until 7 pm. Parking in the square opposite was convenient. Additional milk, tea, and coffee were provided for the rooms. We would not choose to stay here again at such a high price, especially after finding cheaper and better-quality accommodations in the same village. We considered requesting a refund for the lack of breakfast. Check-out involved leaving the key in a tub near the residents' entrance."

Enjoyed the Bateman's Gold and the vegetable lasagne. Popular local pub with typical pub food. We had a lovely evening and noted a lot of guests from the Brewery campsite were also enjoying the place.

We were staying the night so chose to have a meal too. It was quite busy but we were served quickly. The menu was varied and we had the lasagne and the chicken burger. Both were delicious and very reasonably priced. The staff were efficient and nothing was too much trouble. Good decision to eat there!

Lovely pub, friendly atmosphere, good selection of local ale and great food. Looking for somewhere to eat as visiting my mum in Skegness, this delightful pub was serving. Friendly locals and staff behind the bar, I couldn’t fault the evening. A good selection on the menu and reasonable priced, highly recommend.

We visited this pub in Wainfleet for drinks one night and returned another night with a group of 10 for dinner. The staff were friendly, and the selection of beers and drinks was great. The food was decent, not outstanding, but considering it's more of a pub than a restaurant, we were satisfied with the portion sizes. We were able to enjoy 10 main courses, 10 desserts, and a couple of drinks each for a total of £300, which we felt was good value. Speisekarte ansehen

We had little choice but to book this pub/accommodation due to a short notice birthday party. It cost £90 a night which did not include breakfast, even thought they have a restaurant service. A notice in the room says you can go 2 doors down to a cafe and get breakfast, but this is closed on a Sunday, so no help whatsoever and there is no other facility within 5 miles to get something to eat. The rooms don’t look as if they have been updated for years. There is no air conditioning and no fans in the rooms, so windows have to be opened to try and get cool air in, which is impossible on a warm humid night like we experienced. There is no toilet roll holder and the water pressure in the morning...

Me and my husband went for a meal with a friend for our silver wedding anniversary. The landlord, landlady Mick and. Linda, and all of the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We were shown to our table and given menus. There was a good variety of meals to suit all palates. I had chicken Royale followed by salted caramel cheesecake with cream, my husband had gammon followed by treacle sponge and custard and our friend had rump Steak all served with vegetables and chips followed by chocolate fudge cake with chocolate icecream. The meals were large and well cooked and well presented. They were really delicious and of a high standard. We would not hesitate to return for a meal again soon esp...
