"I ordered chicken balls , chips and bbq sauce via Ubereats. It said they’d be an hour An hour and a half later I still didn’t have them. I called the shop at least 20 times before I got through. I was told my food was with the delivery driver and would be approx 15 minutes. I waited for about 30 minutes (was supposed to be there at 9:30 9:50pm and it was now a 11pm) then rang them back as my food still hadn’t been delivered. The man who answered then informed me that there was no chicken balls. I proceeded to ask why his colleague told me the driver was on his way , when I was going to be informed and if they had any intention on contacting me to tell me this (they did not). I asked to cancel the order (as they had accepted it and claimed it was being processed , I was unable to request to cancel it via Ubereats) and then man said he would. I woke up the next morning and they had not canceled the order and had claimed to delivered it. I disputed this with Ubereats but it didn’t let me refund. After being in contact with Ya Hao , I was then told if I rang back later that night I could have my food either then or I could be refunded. I rang up and asked if I could have the food that night to be told they were shut (8pm). I asked for a refund where I was told ‘that is a lot of hassle , it would be easier for us if you could just have the food tomorrow night instead’. I said no , I want a refund and he said he’d have to contact Ubereats which is difficult for them to do. Unfortunately, it seems that everything is difficult for them , including cooking an item off the menu. I told him I definitely wanted a refund and he said he’d call me back the following day. The following day rolls around and I’m patiently waiting for a call from them. Shockingly enough , they never rang. So , I decided that enough is enough and I rang them. The man on the phone then tried to make me just have it that night. Sadly for him , I like my food when I order it , not 3 days after. I told him no , I want a refund to which he told me to contact Ubereats myself because it’s difficult to get through. After telling him that they need to do it because it was THEIR mistake, not mine , I was told I’d receive a call back. Less than an hour later , I got a notification from Ubereats saying I’d get a refund. I now fully understand how they had rats because they rat wouldve been smarter than all of the workers combined. The customer service and unwillingness to help was absolutely shocking. They had no intentions of refunding me but just couldn’t be bothered with the constant calls. This company is about as useful as a chocolate teapot and whenever I have managed to get my chicken balls delivered in the past (always been at least 40 minutes late) , they’ve been undercooked and tasted absolutely vile. 0/10, wouldn’t recommend unless you enjoy trying to communicate with people who don’t care and genuinely don’t want to help. Terrible company , terrible food , even worse people."
