Arrived with my family to say rudely that they are overbooked and we cannot dine with them. I would recommend this place not only for the posture that I ruined the night of the said manager who ruined our evening

Warm and sunny Saturday so very busy and the staff were struggling to cope. Staff were very pleasant and did their best but there were not enough of them. This was a disappointing experience, especially for my two friends who had not been there before.

It’s a lovely old traditional pub with fireplace and wood beams offering good food. The staff are very friendly, but unfortunately there are not enough of them so the service is not the best as I only noted 2 waiters running round for a large restaurant.

Pleasant environment, mediocre food. Prawn Lobster Cocktail clearly lacks in any remarkable lobster. Many shrimps. Missing vegetarian meals. Veggie Burger heavy, tasteless stodgy. Didn't bother with Dessert. The service was good after he had waited very long despite advance booking.
