"Sadly very bad for allergies. I came with my 8 yr old for a rare holiday treat. She has allergies and sushi is her fave food and one of the restaurant choices we eat in pretty risk free. She’s never reacted to sushi and never had this issue in a sushi restaurant. I explained she had a corn and gluten allergy. The lady said even the items listed as gf on the allergy menu could have gluten in due to the nature of the way the chefs work. We have gluten in our kitchen as my hubby can’t be bread free so I said that’s ok if they try their best, wash hands etc will be fine. I chose items which had no sauces etc. But waitress was still looking pretty horrified and said highly likely wouldn’t be gf. I asked if they could simply wipe down the surface and make some fresh a few rolls of maki nothing complex she said oh no we don’t make it fresh oh I thought that was the point of going to a restaurant! At this point my poor daughter said mummy I really don’t feel comfortable eating food made here. How sad that she was made to feel like that. So we left, got the train home, popped to sainsburies, where the lovely ladies at the sushi counter made us fresh yummy sushi, happily taking some extra care around the allergies. 40 mins later we were happily eating it in our comfortable home. Pull it together yo sushi. Honestly allergies are a part of life train your staff not to look at you like you’re an elephant when you mention you have them. Surely you can do better than sainsburies?"

Food was really yummy!! Suldana and kazi were both really friendly and helpful staff!! All in all a really good experience and I would definitely come again

Ordered the food then stressed to a member of staff that one of the dishes needed onions removing due to allergens. What a surprise when the dish came covered in them. The service was dreadful throughout the visit.

Very poor service, small menu and if you don’t have a smart phone the staff make it very difficult for the customer. The new system will fail eventually! I saw three middle age customers just gave up and walked away like us. Not the yo sushi we knew! The drinks etc are delivered on the conveyor belt with no customer service. Speisekarte ansehen

My husband and I enjoy Japanese cuisine and we discovered this restaurant located inside Westfield Shopping Center. We decided to give it a chance and found ourselves a bit overwhelmed with the menu. Thankfully, one of the friendly staff members assisted us in ordering our meal. In no time, we were savoring the fresh sushi and sashimi, which were both light and delicious.

Unfortunately, I have completely lost confidence in ever returning to this restaurant. Even after informing the staff of my children's allergies, we observed that the chefs preparing our food were wearing the same gloves during our entire meal. For instance, when my son's pancakes were served, I had to eat them instead because I saw the chef handling them with the same gloves that were used to touch raw fish, sauce bottles, seasonings, etc. This lack of care for cross contamination made the dining experience feel very unsafe and risky for individuals with allergies. It appeared that no effort was being made to prevent cross contamination at all.

Only making sushi to order is terrible. The conveyor belt is now only used to deliver the food to your table. The ordering process on mobile is terrible and you can't add to order without starting a new order as you have to pay straight away. You need to make sure to add ginger, wasabi etc to the order. We had a family of 3 and it kept sending the wrong amounts of chopstick, glasses, napkins etc to the table. Before it was nice to see dishes pass by and if they looked tempting you could just grab them but now because you have to order on mobile it's too time consuming. It's no longer fast food or grab and go. Many dishes on the menu don't show up on the app if they are out of stock. Speisekarte ansehen

Food was fine, but one of my friends only received one of the things on their order (out of 4). After asking where it was, they were told it was being looked into and eventually their miso was brought over. That member of staff then gestured to other orders on the table and said ‘that looks like your food’ (it wasn’t, there were 3 of us and some of us ordered the same thing) We finally spoke to another member of staff who said that the kitchen was now closing and that the food was not coming. The service at this restaurant was very poor. Our dishes did not arrive and we had to keep asking for them despite being patient. The mobile ordering process was difficult to set up due to bad signal in the shopping center, and we were disappointed that we had to buy plastic bottles of water for £1.99 instead of being able to ask for a jug of water. We ordered miso soup, which never came, and only one of the three larger dishes we ordered arrived. When we asked a staff member about the missing soup, there was no apology, but he eventually brought some to us. However, when we asked for refills of soup, the server never returned with them.
