"This restaurant/takeaway is by far the best Chinese food I have had in the UK. The food is not like your standard Chinese takeaway( they all taste the same with way to much salt). From zi's the taste is incredible, full of flavour and the menu has so many different options. I can highly recommend the chicken with leak and dried chilli, there ribs are also best I've had. Overall you need to try Zi's, it's incredible."

Tom Yum soup was a bit on the salty side but it was tasty. The fried noodles, mixed meats, wasn't good, too dry. The house mixed rice wasn't that great either.

Very friendly and lovely owners, they personally speak to you and ask how your meals are and even hold conversations with you if you like. Food has always been great as well as their prices!

I'm always looking for a fantastic restaurant and ripout food for Chinese cuisine I found it here! the staff is wonderful and helpful a friend jane has introduced me last year into this restaurant and I am always there as often as possible the style is simple and apt there is a lot of clientele eating speaks volume and I love it so much!

extraordinary eating, by far the best Chinese food I tasted, a family lover. we wouldn't go anywhere else for Chinese cuisine. eating is authentic and the service fantastic. the dishes are light and tasty. the restaurant owner always has the highest time for them. I would recommend to sit in the opposite to a takeaway for the full culinary experience.

After waiting 15 mins to be served, We ordered three dishes. The chef seemed over exuberant with salt. Each dish was very salty. In addition, the General Tso’s chicken dish was just oozing too much soy sauce, that was all you could taste. Spare ribs dish. There weren’t many spare ribs at all. Very limited. Overall disappointing and somewhere that we thought we would try but know we would never return.

this restaurant is wonderful. each individual who was ordered was delicious. the real Jewel was the duck (one of our party may not duck and even they claimed it was divine.) the owner is very friendly and talked to us about the preparation for the duck without being intrusive. it is easy to find good Chinese cuisine in cardiff, to find an excellent menu, although really opens their eyes and will be unforgettable.
