"After being regular customers for at least the past 10 years, tonight's visit will definitely be our last. While the food has always been excellent (in fact, the best Indian food in Barnsley), the restaurant and service have gradually declined. Tonight, we found the restaurant to be freezing, heated by only one small heater. Despite being the only customers in the restaurant, the service was incredibly slow - we waited over 45 minutes for our main course after our poppadoms, while takeaway customers were served before us. The waitress seemed more interested in her phone than in providing good customer service. After complaining, we finally received our meal without even an apology, and had to ask for the bill. As we were leaving, we were informed abruptly that the restaurant would be closing the next week. It's no surprise, as with proper management, this restaurant could be a success. Despite our 10 years of loyal patronage, tonight's experience was the last straw. We will take our business to other Indian restaurants in Barnsley that appreciate our loyalty. It seems that loyalty means nothing here."
